I want the Tyraels Might since we no longer need the Juggernaut aspect to cap armor. The damage might not be much, but it's free damage that comes with the big damage reductions affixes

In S2 I ran over 400 Duriel runs and only got 2 Ubers, in S3 I have not got 1 Uber.... I'm tired of farming mats for HOURS just to run Duriel for no rewards.... I'm done farming Ubers, it's boring and no payout....

Dang man. See, I got lucky with all my Ubers. I think I've gotten 9 so far in about 300-400 kills. I think they should be rare, but more consistently rare. Maybe if they kept drop rate the same, but have a 100% drop rate on a certain number of kills or something, it would be worth it to keep going. Good luck on S4 though man, your luck will turn around

I feel the same brother. I ran around the same amount of durrie and only for 3 Uber uniques and of course I couldn't use them for my build. Never did get that toilet resplendent spark. So to this date so far playing this game I've only ever found 5 Uber uniques total across all seasons. Hopefully this next season has some tuning for ubwr drops.

Ubers are overrated in season 4 , more value with temper and master working on normal gear. I say f duriel this season. GG Rob

What I found on the PTR was that Ramaladni's was the most effective with DS/WW/LEAP, even more so than uber uniques, but I had nowhere near the amount time or gear that you had. The time I spent on Bash Barb, Ramaladni's was still the best, followed by Paingorger, I even removed Harlequin's Crest as it was a dps loss. My max Fury was 220ish but the Bash Barb still hit like a beast because it is always full fury. Thanks a lot for your effort in building this list, I would like to hear your opinions and ranking of non-uber uniques.

It was my impression from the very start that Andariel's visage was built rather exclusively with pvp in mind. I have done very little pvp and it was all nearly a year ago by now, but as far as I remember, potion use was somehow limited in pvp. You could only heal through potions once in however many seconds, I believe. And given how everyone's damage to other players is very drastically reduced, with good defensive stats and lots of health, there is a reasonable chance of not actually getting one-shot there, which is where the lifesteal from Andariel's should be the difference maker in who actually wins the fights. I think that's just about the whole idea behind it.

Hey rob, i was thinking for chain lightning sorc, maybe start with new tyrael armor and cap atack speed, then shako, and the ring, what do you think about it?

i have one. new tyrael armor is trash compared to raiment little known secret: you can just tap the BL button for fast ramp ups, though i do have 15% godslayer is actually amazing for lightning sorc, but shako probably better overall yes, RoSS is amazing, I wear that and Tal Rashas

I'm totally trying out minion build, it's awesome they finally made minions matter - makes sense you're necro you raise the dead, kinda weird run around as a necro and have no minions lol

The andariels have synergy with Talrashas for Sorcs. Last season I could not get the Shaco for my build and since I played Blizz sorc, I dont care about the extra +4 to skills anyway. So having the 4procs from TalRasha ring actually boosted my DMG.

Necro is such S tier. They can do the most damage to the 3 mobs left after the barb and sorc have already cleared the map.

I never got a Uberunique, so in s4 my goal is to get my first one.. I hope the new random dropsystem for the materials is good enough so I can do enough ubers without actually "farming" the materials.

Hi rob, what do u now bout the necromancer nerf? some guys are saying the necro got a 50% nerf on minions , but i cannot find any references.

That’s in reference to the 5+ golem masteries being able to roll on 5x pieces of gear. Streamers have been saying this is not intended… no skill should be level 28 with gear. They speculate it was only meant for amulet. Rumor has it this will be fixed and this change will take away the 700% more damage it was providing to golem and cut the damage by 50%. The ptr notes were super vague.. so we’ll have to see

the only use for andariel's I've found is it's a sorc of poison for sorc for their tal rasha ring. But it's kinda just a swap item at that point.

Find a group of people able to solo Durial or Andariel, take turns using summoning mats, that still doesn't guarantee an uber. Sparks are the only to get guaranteed ubers, and grinding rep with the iron wolves x 4 will get you enough sparks. You can't farm the lottery, but you can farm something that is a definite.

I just hope they continue to add more gear and poasibly just more skills and more skill variations. Playing the same builds ever season was getting tired. I didnt play PTR so im hoping its a nice change of pace.

Just to add for Andaril's Visage. The life steal (even though its actually 0.75% of the damage dealt in WT4 in S02) did make a difference on my AOZ experience. Running Andy's and Undying did make a huge difference in survivability. Removing either will make me really struggle to fight close to enemies (I was running a poison rapid fire Andariel's Visage) was able to clear up to AOZ tier 7. I did not run any uber uniques other tahn xflas and andy's . About the NMD100: if not clear all the seasons nmd 100 at least half of them? maybe not running more than 1 unique/uber unique?

The use case for anderials visage is a niche one but it’s an element that sorcs can’t naturally get and can scale your talrasha ring for a bigger multi. Not the most insane but again a niche case where it shines a little bit

Andariel is quite fun for solo leveling alts. Ubers are now LVL 35 (once you take out royal gems out of them). BTW, Andariel must be scaling of at least some DMG buffs (just not sure which ones). While leveling alts I noticed DoT procs of 2mil out of nowhere.

@rob2628 - Can you make an update on your leveling strategy 1 thru 100. What are your planned activities / sequence for leveling. I've been missing from game since season 1. Do people still farm stronghold loops at lower levels? Is it still nightmare dungeons once those are unlocked?

Huge change… Hell Tides will be the new thing in season 4. They are now available in Tier 1 and 2. The bonus experience you get from Tier 2 is now multiplicative.. so you’ll want to do that. Straight to hell tides at start! Should be a lot more fun than the past. A lot more tricks than this.. a bunch of different guides out there

Been playing the game for a week with a friend. Got 4 ubers and am at level 89. I got the two handed Uber sword and the ring back to back. Looks like I have a lucky account. That is what my friend says anyways. I still can't get my hands on the shanko tho. I wanna get it before season end so the grind is on

The easiest way to get the Resplendent Spark is with alts. Just do the questline and farm helltides. You can get one spark in 1-2 days, then you can delete the alt and create a new one.. rinse and repeat :)

Just farm resplendent Sparks from leveling new characters through only helltides. Every 4 characters you do this to Max iron wolves rep, you can just transmute 4 Sparks into whichever Uber you want. I did this to get my Harlequins crest.

Depends on the build - but they lost a bit of power. I am also talking about that in the video, and made a Tier List (Season 4) for the Uber Uniques.

Always loved Selig on my Ball Lightning Sorc, it just ramps up the capabilities to really throw a lot balls. In combination with starless skies both are most important for me. Yes, maybe not for Pit 150+ but well, it’s still fun and relaxing and I rather choose Selig than any armory aspect. It always worked better for my playstyle. But overall it seems tempering overtaken Uber uniques. And this kind of is a good thing and a bad thing in the same. Also I still don‘t know why there is no Uber off-hand, shield and one hand wand. I think thats a shame for all classes using them. Also sad to see andarials visage is so bad. I liked it to get to 100, if you have it early or for a twink but yeah, for the endgame it just is the worst. But I am excited(not hyped just happy) for the new season. Will be some fun explorative weeks.

If you're still wondering the 3 sparks you get from killing Uber Lilith, Tormented Boss, and the Iron Wolves Season Journey are 1 time only. But all Uber unique drops can be salvaged into sparks (if you get ikr you don't want or a duplicate for example)

Werenado only needs Tempest Roar. In reality, you will only see it from Duriel, but it shouldn't take more than 5 kills for you to get it. I'd recommend pulv before you get it since it is so hard to die.

Uniques are basically dead in so many ways due to tempering. Hopefully they find a way to make them important again

being fairly new to d4, i dont understand why uniques are not bis . why have rare items with potentially powerful powers, be so useless or rarely used. also, i wish they would bring back gear sets. was fun farming them and collecting the various sets. AND why is there no auction house in D4??!

pretty sure they dont want 200 to be done for a while. 150 is AoZ 25 and we dont have that glyph to carry our damage anymore. 200 is gonna probably be like 10x or 20x harder than AoZ 25 we can guess. so it wouldnt matter cuz it probably isnt intended for anyone to clear 200 for many seasons.

My bad luck protection is broken I have not seen 1 uber unq drop this season and have killed all the uber torment bosses multiple times. I only have a crafted shako that's it. Meanwhile my buddies have been getting them like it's raining ubers while in the same group with them. I think I'm done playing this season since the game doesn't think I'm uber worthy.

Can't farm the 200 bosses now.. the summon item is not dropping in pit or world boss. Incredibly annoying.

Uber uniques need a buff. Seasons are only 3 months long, so even if they "break" the game, it'll only be for a season, and if you actually find them, they SHOULD. High runes in D2 allowed you to make the most powerful items, uber uniques are essentially that, but not anymore! We need things to really push and aspire to get edit: They shouldnt always be BIS for every build, but they should be generally best for most.

You can't masterwork uniques so they are less irrelevant right now as you can get more out of the regular items now IMHO.

best uber unique is no uber unique, don't even mention normal uniques. blizzard really needs to buff their stats or change them. for example ring of mendeln gives lucky hit chance, but the proc doesn't require it anymore. there must be a way to temper uniques, or they are not desired anymore, which is really bad for the game.

Yeah, when the Ancient Oak axe gives a max +30% vulnerable damage but a legendary can go to 150%, what's the point in the unique? They should be 1.5x the range of legendary items.

I have killed Tormented Andariel twice and I havent gotten a Resplandent Spark. I killed Duriel, Varshan, Zir, Grig, each in their Tormented version and no sparks;( Why that? Do I get it without dying?

I wont farm that shit eather, after runing duriel for like 10.000 times in the last seasons I don't give a fuck anymore. Even uber boss drop chance is ridiculous low.
