Awesome job Chris🤙👊🔥very nice take off and landing gotta say best i have seen on the tube anyway! Your transition into foreard flight fighting translational lift was smooth almost unable to see dip and in real scale that bump is noticable as well yill you break thru it! Really nice work attention to detail spot on the rotor make up was to a tee as well need to put some turbine exaust dust marks at end farings but awesome very awesome!

@crmodels3 ай бұрын
I usually run -/+12 of pitch and flat 55-70% throttle curves. It’s all feel and preference.

Helofreddy (Fred Herrimann) couldn't seem to put this same kit together without having a fit and going on a childish tirade. Good to see there are some honest qualified builders getting it done.

Because I’m skilled, take my time and know what I’m doing. I don’t know why haters keep dogging MotionRC. All they do is sell the Roban fuselages and Phoenixtech airframes. In my opinion you can’t beat what you get for price with the Roban fuselages. His failure was build error or he didn’t upgrade to the quality parts he needed to make the Phoenixtech Align quality. All I used back in the day for my scale builds were 450-700 size Chaos Phoenixtech clone airframes but I would upgrade any of the parts I was unsure about to my quality standards. I also put at least 1/2 a dozen test flights on my airframes before sticking them inside a scale fuselage to make sure everything worked well and flew good. You can’t just bang a scale build together. Way too many moving parts especially with a raised tail or dual drive system!

@@crmodels Exactly. Hell, I have spent considerable time working the bugs out of my two SS470 AS350 kits, and they are considered quality mechanics. They fly great now. Not terrible out of the box, but there's quite a bit of room for improvement if you know where to look. Thinking youre getting quality flyable airframe and fuse for around the cost of the fuse alone is idiotic. Going on a 3 month tirade thereafter blaming the wrong company's is just childish.

tail seems to wag a lot....apart from that its a very realistic paint job...amazing

Great job Chris as always. I did see your test flights before you installed in the fuselage. I have been considering Roban with the mechanics that come with the kit for some time but have not pulled the trigger yet. My question for you is, what do you feel about the build quality of the fuselage?
@crmodels2 жыл бұрын
I’ve built over 20 Roban models. I fee you get a lot of quality for the price. I prefer to buy a empty fuselage and use my own trusty mechanics. You can see all my builds on my Chris Reibert RC Facebook page. m.facebook.com/ChrisReibertRC/photos/?tab=album&album_id=1431370870207922&ref=page_internal

@@PastorDavidFranklin The "Motion" fuses IMO arent as high a quality as the ones direct from Roban, but their not horrible either. My biggest gripes are excess resin and flaky paint. I removed 9 grams of excess resin from the tail cone of a 450 size fuse from motions lineup. That alone let me remove 40-50g of nose weight needed for balance.
@PastorDavidFranklin2 жыл бұрын
@@memyself3275 Thank so much for that info. I Just want the best value for my money. After some research I have been leaning more toward purchasing directly from Roban! Have a great day.

I’m flying with a Mikado Vcontrol radio, Vbar NEO, 30% expo and just smooth hands with little inputs to give the heli a nice scale flight.

☠BLACK BARON☠ 4:35 Check and re-check the gears of the angular gearbox "Made in China". Some of the universal joints are not well drilled. They are a little "Offset" and not 100% concentric which causes ... non-wanted and non-needed vibrations on the drive shaft.
