Just bought one & you were so right about fiddly tail fit, weak undercarraige screws & tricky battery holder. Like it all the same though & thank you, I'm a newbie & your video very much helped with build.

Awesome! It's a good plane despite the few 'issues' I pointed out, it will do you well. I'm creating a couple of related follow up videos. 1) Talking about buddy box systems. 2) Upgrading the Robbe Air Trainer to 4s!

Definitely a Max Thrust Riot, great flying plane, especially on 4s

I tried it on 3s, I’ll check to see if the ESC and motor will take 4s.

@MattTakharRC Another top tip, is put the ailerons on separate channels and set up 50% differential, the roll rate is improved and buttery smooth. Excellent review 👏

Have to say I like the robbe graffics and scheme a lot more than the riot scheme

Another Great Video Matt. I presume you had the Gyro switched off for inverted and aerobatics?

Thanks for the feedback it’s appreciated. To be honest i forgot to use the flight stabilisation switch when I was flying in the video. It has two settings and was turned on for every flight. I believe the difference between the two settings is the amount of gain applied. I had it on the lower amount. I will be doing a follow up video and will be sure to cover this in more details. So to answer your question it does loop, roll and go inverted with the flight stabilisation enabled. It’s not one that stops you rolling past a certain angle etc.

No problem. I’m playing with the following ideas at the moment. Which one would you watch? 1. Taking your A test with Robbe Air Trainer 140 2. How aerobatic is the Robbe Air Trainer 140? 3. Fine tuning/aerobatic setup - more movement, larger battery (4s)?
