This was hilarious when i saw this scene and the movie. this is my favorite movie people thought De Niro said to the old lady 'The f**k are you looking at?!' when he said to her 'What's your f**king problem?!' and i think i thought he did lol

Nothing Likeable about Gil Renard,he's a complete Psycho but still it's a captivating performance from De Niro,you totally buy into watching this nutcase crumble and unfold. Snipes too is great as Bobby Rayburn. So Underrated this film and not as popular as it should be.

@@richperez2168 he really is. In the fan he's a fucking nut from the start. I remember first watching this aged 16 bk in 97 and just felt so sorry for him but knew he was his own worst enemy. Really got too me tbh. Snipes was great too. 👍

He pushed his son out way for a far ball, reminds me when I was little and frank thomas hit a home run I was 7 and about to grab it when a man late 20s maybe 30s pushes me out way to get ball for himself.

I read the original novel of this. It was pretty interesting. I pictured Bobby looking like Phil Lamarr, though some later prose indicates that he's white (but it was, like, 60 pages in, and if I get a physical description that late, I ignore it).
