Robert Dover: Collecting The Trot through Transitions

8 жыл бұрынThe transitions can be a magical moment where everything goes well or they can be the disastrous moment which leads to everything falling apart in the next movement. In this video Robert Dover starts with schooling the collection in the transitions then works on developing the collection within the trot. The horse in this video goes from falling apart in the transitions to showing some beautifully collected lateral work. Timing of the half halt is key and this video is a great display of how that all works together.
This video was filmed at the Robert Dover Horsemastership Program in Wellington, Florida at the Global Dressage Festival.
