part of it comes from the fact his face is put over Michael J Fox's so at certain angles and movement his face shape shines through. same with RDJ over Christopher Loyd

Since it's just a face overlay, it's essentially Michael J Fox wearing a Tom Holland mask. The voice is the same, the movements are the same, etc. The Tom-Mask is even stretched to fit Fox's face, which is why it doesn't truly look like Tom except for one quick face front shot. Fox carries his head differently than Holland does - further forward, unlike dancer/gymnast Holland. All of these make the Tom Holland part of it almost unnoticeable.

(they probably make RDJ appear taller in the movies, because he is...well...Ironman) Michael J Fox is 163 (which is very short for a guy) Christopher Lloyd is 185. That's a 25 cm difference! Can always count on someone to write nonsense in the comment section...

Maybe instead of a remake, they should do a spiritual successor with Robert Downey and Tom Holland. Rick and Morty started out as a parody of Back to the Future. Futurama seems like it’s inspired by the film as well.

Read somewhere that Holland drew inspiration from Marty McFly character when auditioning for Spiderman. I am 100 percent against a remake of Back to the Future but after seeing this I want to see one with these two in the roll. This is brilliant.

It holds up very well for it's time but it I'd undeniable that it is old and you really can tell the difference in the sfx and stuff. It is why my gf hates it. these deepfakes are getting better and better. sometimes the faces still float around a bit, or clip back to the originals when they turn in an unusual direction, but you can really see how in a few more years this stuff is going to be flawless.

I've seen videos where the audio was faked by using sound samples of the person to create a convincing text to speech. I think it was Joe Rogan and they used his podcasts as the source. And it wasn't just a situation where they wrote the words and he said them, it was also an AI that was programmed to create unique monologue using the information given to it.

Thank you :) The training time is important. The more you train the model and the more accurate it it will be. The most important thing is the source images. You need top notch quality and you need all angles from the face. After that you have to learn how deepfacelab works, do a lot of tests and have a lot of patience.
