This interview shows how impossible it was not to fall in love with Dame Elizabeth when you met her. She was truly amazing:::::ACTRESS, ICON & HUMANITARIAN. She was not like anybody and we will never see her like again. Truly remarkable in every way. We who were touched by her and sought to touch her will never forget. DAME ELIZABETH'S LEGACY will contine through her films but most of all through her ETAF until a cure is found . Many are alive today because Dame Elizabeth was a fighter for huma

3:25 ...there was a story there, dick. We know you're on TV, you've made it. You don't need to prove anything now. Sorry, it's 3:30am, I'm a bit drunk and angry that I've found some Seigfreid and he isn't allowed to talk forever.

Dreadful interview . Snow constantly interrupting , busying himslf asking Hardy very dull , ano doyen questions . He has so much to say of interest . I do loathe these self interested interviewers .

I just hate that, it's so rude, it's like they can't wait to hear the sound of their own voices.

Appalling interviewer, the timing of his interruptions would be almost comic if he weren't interrupting such an excellent raconteur. Robert Hardy is sorely missed.

I'd wished Jon Stewart would shut up and stop interrupting.

Mr. Hardy is a loyal friend and a fabulous, natural actor. In this interview I think he's being diplomatic regarding ET, because she hated to drink alone and urged and provoked Richard to drink with her when, at numerous times, he tried getting sober. But, as Mr. Hardy confirmed, who can resist ET? Her demands needed to be met because that is how she lived her life from when she first became a huge star with "National Velvet." Unfortunately, her demands and possessiveness of Richard, coupled with Richard's guilt about dumping Sybil and his two little daughters (one of them, Jessica, required to be institutionalized because she was unfortunately born severely retarded) to be with ET were eventually too much for him to bear. That guilt could not be washed away with the gallons of vodka he consumed (three bottles at day at his worst), which nearly killed him. Ironically, it was not the alcohol that killed him; he died of a cerebral hemorrhage after falling and hitting his head. I pray Richard has found peace in Heaven. And I hope ET is content wherever she is being served and adored as she demanded in life.
