I agree God gives us what we have. He wants us to be prosperous. In Deuteronomy 7 God says "after you come into the land of milk and honey, you'll forget me" Chapter 8 God says "after you've prospered with your hands with what I've given you you will forget me." You're correct, God knocks down wicked pastors. He wants us to share our wealth with the needy. Not thur charities that we founded or giving to, but from our own pockets. This wasn't mentioned in the clip. How much of his 110 million has he given away? 50% 10%? I know a preacher who gives 50% of his earnings after taxes and is very blessed by God. And he pastors a small church. His giving has come back to him 10 fold. That's the problem with TV & large church pastors. They accumulated wealth but are not known for their giving. Remember what Matt 25 says, "feed the hungry, clothes the naked." Or what Jesus said about if a "man needs a coat, give him your cloke also." I'm not promoting the prosperity gospels, I'm making a point. The man failed in his personal life, was he a failure in his role as a man of God, a preacher? That's what I'm wondering about. As for him, I'm sure he agonized over his sins for decades, especially with what scripture says about your sins will find you out, in this life or the next. But was he truly acting like a real Christian? I'm doubtful. With all his wealth and political connections, he's looking like a false prophet. We Christians need to start living Christianity in all we do, in our lives, how we think, and our actions will show our faith, see the book of James. We need to stop being hypocritical. Start teaching people how God rewards hard work. How God gives us contemptment in what we do, how we live our Christianity. But most importantly, how we give ourselves for others. Even if it means giving up our lives for others, see the book of John. For him, his sin is between him and God, I have nothing to do with judgment. He has to do the repenting, he should've come clean long ago. As a fellow Christian, I have to forgive him for his sins many years ago. As a Christian, I have every right to be skeptical of him, I'm thinking he's just another fallen preacher caught up in their personal sins. Same as Jim Bakker & Jimmy Swagert. He reminds me, but without the personal sin, of Jerry Falwell. I'm dating myself with those examples. I'm 67 and have seen a lot of ripoff preachers in my lifetime, and a lot of really good ones. It's kinda like the wheat and tares, only not in the end times but now and very publicly. The casting out of the tares from God's real preachers. For his shake, I pray I'm wrong, but I doubt it.

That is because neither RM nor his Christian socialite wife have EVER repented nor confessed their sins. If they had, then they would not be CONTINUING in their sins. I don't know him personally. I live in the UK, but I often watched his Sunday Sermons. I believe he repented. He often spoke about how immoral his lifestyle was before he got saved. I'm sure Cindy must have felt terrible after what happened to her, but at some point don't we need to forgive and move on. I don't understand why she would want to destroy him and his family after all of this time has passed. Perhaps I'm too soft, but I don't see how any of this is going to make her feel any better. I also don't really understand in regards to the money. Does it mean that if he had given her the amount of money she wanted, she would have remained silent? First one was my brother, who was abused by a SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHER. He was 5. Then my sister was assaulted by our older cousin. She was 7. It took YEARS for either one of them to grow and mature enough to speak about their experiences with anyone, even anyone in our family. This is the reason why sexual predators often choose children, because they are too young and vulnerable to know what to do to stop the abuse, or even understand that they are being abused in the first place. A book I highly recommend is The Sociopath Next Door, by Martha Stout, PhD. I disagree with your assessment that Morris repented, because sociopaths are incapable of repentance, as they are unable to empathize with their victims, and do not truly understand the enormity of their crimes. This man not only repeatedly abused this child, in her own home, over an extended period of time (4.5 years), but today, he and his wife, who has been complicit in his sex crimes, have both CONTINUED the emotional abuse and torture of Cindy, his former victim, by gaslighting her into thinking that somehow she is at least partially to blame for her victim hood. She has been accused by them of being a grifter, and then LIED about her (breaking the 9th Commandment) by saying she demanded millions, when in reality she only asked for 50k to help defray the cost over the last 10 years for her much-needed psychotherapy.
