Seems like the younger generations are just making use of the "innocent elders" to meet their own vested interest. NSF started renting the building by requesting with an application letter when Vizolie Sorhie was NSF president, paid house rent (Rs 500) for the first month April 1983. They have no right to claim ownership. The owner can demolish the building even at mid night, it's up to the owner, no one can dictate the timing of the job.

Naga Club that was formed in 1918 was for Naga People where every Naga people accept them and honour them for been the only intellectual group that is leading the Nagas in so many way also created so many history for Naga's. But after the formation of NNC,Naga Club dissapeared from the picture completely after 1950's since all the leader's who formed/started NC did went to work and led The Naga's under the banner of NNC in various way or capacity. So,NSF questioning the present Naga Club executives of its origin and who made them executive is very much genuine and appreciable for inquiring their authenticity. The present people were known only in 2017 onward and so that raised many doubt,as this days anyone's can form any kind of organization or imitate someone to get benefit and to self promote inorder to gain something . Why people doubt and question the present Naga Club members is that the Naga Club that was form in 1918 got Naga's mandate and the main objective is for Naga People but on the contrary while comparing with the present one it is totally opposite and no one knew who are they or who gave them the mandate to take over Naga Club in anyway. I have a huge respect for Sir Robert Solo and look up to him but for this particular case i dont think he's doing the right thing,it is more like serving his rich master if not it totally doesn't align with what he claims.. Whether he like/respect/honour Naga Student federation doesn't matter or for that matter no one cared but infront of the non Naga people NSF is consider a very strong body/organization in Naga Society and people have so many respect for this body but this group so called as Naga Club who were unknown to most of Naga's,Out of nowhere jump in when everyone is deep asleep hiddenly vandalized the office of NSF and vanishes before people's wake-up,such deeds clearly show how Naga's treated its own Organizations or ngos body in such way/manner to show it to the outsiders committed by some educated Naga's,which badly damages the whole Naga's infront of the whole world. NSF might be young organization or even have their own ups and down in many ways but others considered it as a strong Naga base organization that had lead Naga's in the forefront sacrificing their members to stand against anti-naga action committed by the mighty Indian army(specially in the late 70's,80's,90's and the early part of 20's)but the present scenerio treated them this way as nothing is really sad. If the present Naga Club is for Naga People as like in 1918 then such thing would have never happened but their deeds and action completely proof they're the different version of Naga Club and not the NC that was formed in 1918. NSF is a Naga organization and work for Naga People,so they got every right to stay and work from there too since it is for Naga People. Why did those present so called Naga Club dint do anything when forest dept set up their office in that very house, it was nsf that boldly started to occupied to make its office from the hand of govt and took care of it till date by preserving the name of Naga Club with much respect.. Hoping individual greeds and interest will not destroy Naga Society to ashes with threatening tactics and bullying style ,but Naga's should raise above such system...

I don't know why Jeevan is very interested in this issue. Anyway, i think Robert is misinforming and misleading the nagas with his limited knowledge. If we refer the documents we will find that, the Naga club building was constructed for entire nagas. So the word "Malik" is very wrong. Naga club was non functional after the formation of NNC as far as my elders informed me. After that another team was reconstituted in the year 1982 led by Azuto Rengma as president. After that as the Naga club members approached the NSF to claim the building as it is a Naga property, NSF occupied the building since state govt was not ready to give back the building. Since Naga club was non functional, the office was utilised by forest department later on when forest dept shifted to its new complex state govt was ready to give it to education dept. District administration warned nsf to vacate the building but NSF didn't allow the govt to take the building. Naga club was no more with only one surviving member K Mero Joint secretary and caretaker. He is still alive. Now the Naga people are failing to understand the words and actions of so called Naga club. What is their contribution to Naga issue? How influential are the present Naga club members?
