No one knows whats hes going to be until he plays, he can be the greatest or he can be Trubisky all over again. No one knows.

Its funny cause I feel like a Mitch career arc would be not only the most disappointing outcome but of all of the potential bad outcomes for his career that's probably a fairly realistic one.
@foolmenow00
@foolmenow00 Ай бұрын
I get your take but honestly his skillset is maybe visually better for success than Mitch and... wouldn't it be better if CW is neither? He needs to be functional enough for Bears to emerge as SB winners in about 3 years and build upon that for stability like other successful franchises. I don't want him to just be a flash in the pan. Let's get a QB who can be here about 10 years!

If the parkey field goal didn't get blocked for the infamous double doink, we would be talking different. Granted it was the defense that year. But wasn't it a 12 win season? And lost to the super bowl Champs by a last second fg. He made some good plays that game. I'll give him that. I'm not sire how much was mitch, or Nagy.

A bigger, better throwing, less fast Kyler Murray is a damn good player. Especially when you take into account Caleb’s desire to be great and do all the things necessary to get there. KM doesn’t have Caleb’s mentality… and that’s what separates the greats.

Robert Schmitz hosts an incredible post-game analysis stream on Tuesdays that is absolutely worth tuning in for. Though it feels like he is just getting his feet wet, he is an intelligent dude that provides quality analysis on team performances on Sundays. These streams don't cover everything, but they are a great jump off point into understanding the next level of football acumen of player responsibilities and techniques.

Caleb practicing and learning against this Bear defense is the best way to get him up to NFL level. The defense is going to throw him everything under the sun with coverage schemes, blitzes etc. but at the same time no one defender will be trying to knock his helmet off.

No need to over hype this guys. Jaylon as always, just speaks the truth. There’s no competition, there’s no Vet QB2 to sit behind and learn from, Jaylon just speaks reality here. Caleb is a special prospect with extreme confidence and has to come here ready to take over because - that’s the only path forward. This is the only scenario the Bears set up. I’m rooting for the kid. I hope he stays healthy and very, very quickly adapts to the NFL

Who can't read the defense 😂😂 there's a reason the Trojans best offensive game was the 1 without Williams. The back up had better feel then Caleb. The reason 90+% of his highlights are him outside the pocket, because he's read 1 and scramble. He's a black Johnny football
@filmjunkie-97
@filmjunkie-97 Ай бұрын
@@joshlewis575He’s one of the beat processors ever. You don’t know football if you say he can’t read a defense. It’s all over film for 3 years Also saying USC’s best offensive game was against Louisville is just false. USC scored 35 with Miller Moss. They Scored More than 35, 9 Other Times the entire season. They even scored 49 pts in one half against a Pac 12 team 😂 Also if you think a USC Offense with immobile, Long Release, Weak Armed Miller Moss is better than Caleb then you simply don’t know football. USC OL had their best game against Louisville.

Everybody likes to talk about the flash and dash players, but the Bears biggest hurdle hasn't changed in 15 seasons. The O-Line has to become an elite unit or at least a playoff caliber front 7. If that fails again, so will Williams struggle.

by the way, hes saying he will be a better version of Kyler in his rookie season, thats a great start. Kyler can ball when hes healthy and in his prime. Kyler stats (best year) - 3971 yards 26 td 12 int. Thats great numbers for Caleb as a rookie. Would be probably a top 3 season for a Bears qb ever (REALLY SAD). Caleb would probably have like 3800 yards and 25 tds with 10 picks. Great rookie season, probably puts him around 15-13 on the qb list?
