As boring as the Izzy vs Romero fight was, Romero had the absolute best game plan to fight Izzy, he just needed to be more active. Izzy likes the opponents to come to him to work countering and controlling the distance, he doesn’t likes to be the aggressor. Romero reversed the roles and Izzy was losing the first 2 rounds.

I love both Adesanya and Whittaker, but the reason I root for Adesanya over him is simply that he seems to have higher ambitions. Izzy wants to be a GOAT, he wants to make a massive stamp on the world of fighting, whereas Rob wants to be a modern day gladiator and provide for his family. It would be hard for Izzy to achieve his ultimate goals without winning this fight, but Rob could lose this fight and still achieve his. So I lean towards supporting Izzy in this fight but ultimately I do root for Rob generally.
