I did my due diligence. He pursued me for at least 3 months. Finally, gave him a chance and showed me he can meet my standards. Conveyed me that he’s looking for a relationship that leads to marriage. After a month being in a committed relationship he started to back off and I asked him it was his insecurities, he said he has nothing to offer blah blah, and eventually I started to back off as well. It hurts because at that point I’m emotionally involved and he even cooked dinner for us a few times and prayed for our relationship. Before you know it he told me that he’s not ready for a “serious relationship” instead of getting mad I told him “You take care of yourself” then he cried. While I felt like I want to hold on to our relationship I can’t be with someone that doesn’t know what he wants and made me feel not valued. I left and never look back…

Yes you are so right the real them will show up within 3 to 6 Mos. So you did the right thing and moved on. It hurts but God will see you through and you saved yourself much more pain later and you still have your self respect and your dignity. Wait on God for he has your King just around the corner. Be blessed my sister in Christ Amen ❤

Deanna, I had a very handsome sergeant trying to recruit me in my gym. I had already gone thru an academy and didn't want to do it again, plus their training camp was hundreds of miles away and I would have to relocate for 6 months which I couldn't afford. But this guy persisted relentlessly for a couple of months trying to recruit me. He was always popping up out of nowhere. I felt the busy gym wasn't anyplace to talk about a serious life change, I was uncomfortable. I wasn't very interested in joining but he persisted. Finally I got upset with him and walked away. I started chatting with a guy friend and suddenly my friend went pale. I turned around and the sergeant was behind me steaming hot with anger because I was talking to another male. I got very scared when the sarge approached me and brushed against my back. He softened his angry face and continued slowly walking away in a very goofy flirty sort of way. I intentionally stayed away from the gym for a few days. it was then that I realized he was jealous and I wondered if his persistence was based on a crush. What do you think of this?

“Calling it out” is more masculine energy. “No thank you” is walking away. If a man gets distant, applying distance and going about your business or moving on with your life is feminine. If you feel a tug in your heart, that’s a signal, it’s over. Anxious feelings are your bodies way of sensing disappointment. Replace the anxious feelings of disappointment with treating yourself to time with yourself. Give room for the right man to find you. These are things I have struggled with in the past. Right now working on myself is the best energy I can give myself.

This is truth. We can sense disinterest and games but we tend to look over it or waste time trying to encourage him/her to show more interest. Sometimes we start doing things to seek their approval in hopes of impressing them when we get that "tingle in our spirit" or feel them pull way-instead of just moving on and forward. I will be single for the rest of my life before I work overtime to pull someone back in that's becoming distant or even initiate the conversation to address it.👋🏼💨

Can attest. I chased men who all needed a help er - but it's the same. They are takers. The "body count" is real. I was married for 11 years. He, too, was one that I chased. I have finally, after being with a person for a majority of my adult life, have paused to stop, think, and figure it out. Thank you RC Blakes for sharing this truth. Coming from a man, this is so incredibly powerful. I attracted emotionally immature and unavailable, or those that would not put in their own work to figure themselves out. So, I stopped and looked at myself in the mirror. You've got to place boundaries in place. There is no fear of missing out, except on ANOTHER relationship that is not in alignment with God's purpose . Stop, pause, and step into the identity that Christ has for us. Thank you again. Cannot say enough about this ministry.

If a man doesn’t like you enough to commit, why give him your heart, body and soul? This is beautiful. I’ve noticed that when men speak to me and I speak back with a smile, they always seem to walk away looking as if they’ve just won the lottery. what an honor it is to know that I’ve had that kind of an impact on that individual, because in these days one never knows what a person is going through and perhaps by acknowledging him and returning his greeting with a sincere smile set the catalyst for his day.😊

Sooooo. A Man pursued me from church. Said he’d been observing me for a month. He’s shorter than I’d like lol. But he is very kind, and gosh if I thought I knew the Word, this Man has been edifying my Spirit! Aside from this, we are getting to know each other, it’s only been 2 weeks. He contacts me Every day. Tells me his ins and outs. Prays for me daily. Is it okay to have this much interaction? He IS the one pursuing me, I respond to whatever he sends me. He even spoke to our Pastor and asked if it were okay to continue pursuing me. To me, he seems like a serious Man the most serious Man I have EVER had interest with.

The only thing I disagreed with was not letting a man know your true interest. And it may be my age, but when I first dated my now-husband, I told him up front that I was looking for a husband, not a boyfriend. I was 57, and didn't have time for game playing. My message in that statement was that as a high value woman, I was not going to be fooling around having sex with anyone forever, while they future faked, nor was I going to pursue, or chase anyone. I took a chance by saying this, but if he didn't respond favorably, I would have just saved myself a whole lot of time and possibly, heartache. It turns out though, that he was looking for a wife; so when I was honest about what I wanted, he began acting like a husband immediately. I can't stand game playing. Being up front was the best for us.

Excellent teachings! Retrospectively speaking; we needed this years ago! It was never spoken of in any conversations in any of our communities! Thanks for your thoughtfulness in this area if concerns!

I agree with everything you are speaking about, and appreciate your wisdom. The problem in society as to why so many women including myself have pursued in the past, or been in our masculine energy , Is due to the fact that so many women have been fatherless, including myself, so we have had to play the role of father and mother in our children’s lives because we then were attracted to the wrong types of Men, since we didn’t have any good Man as a Father to show us the right way a girl or daughter should be treated , so it’s been trial and error, a lot of soul work with God to get us back into our feminine ways😇😇

And to be a single/woman in heavy competition of daily life is also masculine, it creates division and separation in every aspect of her.A weight she was not created to carry. To walk only in your feminine as a single woman is accually not a practical or safe thing for her to do. So in essence the very thing she needs to do practically for her family is the very thing that keeps her unattractive. No wonder everyone is depressed. You can't receive encouragement and grace from depressed people, and God work through people.

Just BE CAREFUL of the narcissists who will pursue and Love Bomb almost obsessively... it is flattering but deceiving. Seek God for discernment and listen to the opinion of wise friends and family who care about you. Never ignore red flags. A godly man will have consistent FRUIT🔥☝🔥

Right that word is so misused..I have had real deal narcissistic patients And the word really need to stop being throwed around..a man “dogging” you is Not narcissistic Narcissistic are mostly physically abusive explosive and does physical harm to people not just a player or “dog” they are opportunist and I think people are just over using the Narc word or not knowing the real definition Narcissistics are on the SNAP ID channel and mostly like in prison now

@@dr.aliadixonnursepractitio6473 a lot of these men do indeed go on to abuse women. There is an explosion of clinical NPD in Western society.

Agree, the tell-tales of this are the rushing into relationship or into bed, too many gifts in a short period of time, too many claims of promises that "we will do this, we will do that", and too many gushy compliments. These love bombers tend to overdo things, which can be hard to tell for an ignored, love-starved woman. Esp women who came from abusive or broken households.

That's right! Way more to life than a relationship! I see that now after being with someone 19 years (married for 7)! Nothing is ever guaranteed! Now apart from him I see there is a lot more I could have been doing with 19 years of my life! I learned a lot through it all though! But now I am embracing my singleness 🙌🏽

Such a great message. Especially liked the part about handling every respectable guys interest as honour and be respectful in Ur rejection if u feel there's no attraction. Everyone deserves love and it's important to be kind in all your interactions with respectful men. ❤ Also loved the point about what it means about being a high value man. From his soul to his spirit. Yessss
