Bob I saw three funeral scammers down here in Florida a few weeks ago they’re all over the place.

I am in Milwaukee and these folks just started popping up. Not just with the funeral thing, which they do, but a lady with nice hair and nails outside with her baby, husband sitting in the car while she begs for money. I literally call the cops Everytime!!! I hate people that lie and don't need help but prey on our emotions.

Any of them ask me for money. i will say i don't speak English in perfect English to them. Some lady was speaking Spanish to me. i still say i don't speak English. 😂😂😂

They are everywhere in the North Bay, CA. Seen them in my small town. Last week hiding behind a bush "playing" a violin with music playing in the background on their blutooth speaker. AGAIN, just a few days later outside of the Target in Petaluma CA. Same thing but this guy had a saxophone. AND yes, we have a lady with all bright smiles holding fake flowers. This is a huge SCAM and glad someone is pointing this out! Really been a problem for the last year or so in my area. EDIT: The couple I saw scamming were driving a 06-08 Toyota Sienna Gold Van. They are easy to trace.

Walking out from work one night, had this guy approach me and say he needed money for a fan belt, (he's holding one in his hands) and I told him I'm sorry but no. NOW months later, my wife and I pull up to a gas station to get gas, and the SAME GUY comes up to me with a fan belt. I laughed and man I'm sorry to hear this, you were looking for money for this a couple of months ago, are you still trying to get cash for it? What kind of car is it, is it an expensive belt?

I've found it's very effective to bring these things up during city council meetings, especially, if the city manager or Mayor is there. Those positions are elected ones and the more people that get tired of these "broken windows" complaining and making it a point to find an alternative person willing to run on these issues usually gets the incumbents' attention. Also, even with the police witnessing things (as you've seen) they often want the simplest/easiest way out. File a police complaint later on and make it a point that you are a resident.

Weeks ago there was about 7 young adult males doing this same exact thing , they all had the same sign with a young woman as the picture, I almost gave them money but I didn't have cash. Few days later on my way home from work , same intersection but the group was a bit different.. there were a few women this time, same exact font but the picture was a male this time. My heart dropped.
