FILM DESCRIPTION:
After returning home to England, aristocrat Robin of Loxley learns that the evil Sheriff of Nottingham has seized his family estate. He soon joins forces with Friar Tuck and Little John -- a fierce Arabian warrior who wants to put an end to the Crusades. Armed with arrows and dubbed Robin Hood, Loxley leads a band of oppressed rebels in a daring plan to rob the Sheriff of his money and take away his power.

Look at where the heated iron is on the cart, at 2:48. It was placed on the right side of him, I guess it was just a minor editing mistake, easily fixed if the footage was inverted.

I think this scene is probably one of my favorite ones from the movie. I ❤️ the fight choreography for the archery arrows and the slow-motion 📷 shots. Excellent well-done scene.

1.) A 12th century crossbow bolt to the thigh would shatter your femur, potentially sever your femoral artery and damage a lot of muscle and ligament, rendering the person immobile. Yet Robin pulls it out and carries on. 2.) Why are so many people wearing modern looking clothing that didn't even come about until the 1800's? 3.) Why are there black people in the streets of Nottingham in 1250AD? Totally unrealistic - 03:18

@@petyrbaelish1718 Put the historical thing aside, This movie is actually intended to be different that the original story. And about the clothes, that's actually the point of the movie. This movie wanted to combine the life in middle ages and the modern one. That's why in the first battle, they use modern warfare strategy with archaic weaponry. Well, for me this movie is fine tho in the terms of action, the plot, and the story. It's not disappointing

This is some of the better paced and framed action sequences in this decade. The stakes and positions are always clear, its always obvious who, what, where, and why things are happening, and the eye is directed to follow the focus of the action. This feels out of the aughties in a good way

@Samuel Hart Arabuan janissaries actually needed to have that skill. The book Arabian Archery describes that it was expected of them to shoot at least 3 arrows in 1,5 seconds.

BH 2Key pft, you dare compare him to Hawkeye? Hawks got the hand to hand, staff, baton, and great perception to shoot from afar, a great assassin. But this dude? He can shoot arrows wayy faster than Hawkeye could even try to reload another. You see his methods? It’s in modern style, focused on aim, but not good against medieval. They go 1 on 1. Hawkeye would lose when just using only normal arrows.

Armors were basically tanks: the ONLY way to kill someone with an arrow or a sword, was to pierce the weapon in a weakspot without armor, such as the eyes, neck, or few other places.
