Hi Brenda, yes, our Robin has been voted our greatest loved bird and I can see why, especially having had little 'Sid' the Robin. I always have a tub of mealworms and can call a Robin to me, with most individual birds... then give them mealworms. :) I like your Robins too. Hello again my friend, yes there will have been other birds in the background too. They often sort of 'reply' to each other, but i think they just try to time their singing to slot in between other birds singing so they are actually heard. Thanks for the kind comment, much appreciated. 👍◕‿◕

Hi Anita, I see these birds regular and I am very privileged to do so. However, they are not often so much out in the open without twigs and branches in the way of capturing them well and they are not always singing, so I always film them when they are as good as these guys. Maybe once a season. For such small birds they have a powerful song. Can you imagine how they would sound if they were the size of a Goose! Hi Don, I have an external mic, but most times I go out just don't seem to be the right sort of place to take it... like on windy open areas or in woodland as it gets caught on trees etc or is just no good in high winds... or i forget I even have it lol. I could never seem to get the settings right too and I did experiment with it some. If I used it now it would be like starting again with it. I will try again though. These scenes were caught without it, because they were so close and the day was so calm and quiet, that it wasn't even needed. (I was lucky). I've not been out as much this season due to various problems including my car engine and turbo (Qashqai 1.2 Acenta) going kaput and losing my car. And also ever worsening house problems, but I do what I can and keep going. Better times will come, my friend. Thanks you as always. And good luck with the ext. mic. 👍◕‿◕
