Soft-body dynamics is a field of computer graphics that focuses on visually realistic physical simulations of the motion and properties of deformable objects (or soft bodies). In this Roblox Studio overview, I explain how to make soft body simulation with the use of SmartBone 2.

@@shoppingcart69420 yes, mostly used in local/client scripts, but can also be used in server scripts if your waiting for something during run time. You only need to use it once because it waits for the child and all of it's descendants to load.

I feel with the future of EditableMeshes we might also see implementation of soft body physics with EditableMeshes too, giving more control than just the current bone system.

if you want to make your own simulation you can do different calculations specficially, and instead use editable meshes instead of bones
