It just makes me laugh how so many people say that the ship reversed during the collision, then when you ask them for any proof they say "it was in the movie!!!!!!!!" like the movie is some godly bible that is 100000000000000000% accurate to real life.. it's hilarious.

Not saying it didnt reverse but the fact that he made it to stop engine instead which if the helms was hard over the ship cannot turn because the middle propellor isnt moving

@@UNIQUEwastaken she can turn without the center propeller moving, it just needs to be moving forward in order to turn, titanic drifted when the engines stop so that means that the titanic is still being pushed forward by momentum.

Fun fact:Titanic had a 3-bladed central propeller while her 2 other sister ships had 4-bladed central propellers, the reason why is because of a vibration issue.

Olympic after her 1913 refit received titanic’s design of a 3 Bladed center propeller because its a experiment that Titanic never managed to Finish during her Maiden voyage But her center propeller will return back to a 4 bladed after her 1919 Overall After the war. Main while Britannic earlier during her Construction was design with Titanic’s Design 3 Bladed Center propeller but upon Dry dock to install them they decided that it would be a 4 Central Propeller instead. Maybe it was due to the fact that Olympic was already experimenting with that Propeller Design, and Her former 4 Bladed was already a success so they Decided that a 4 Bladed would do.

thats a reference to a deleted scene in the james cameron 1997 film where the famous "Unsinkable" Molly Brown asks for ice while the iceberg passes by her.

Fun fact: When Phillips told the Californian to shut up, he didn't say 'Another one...', he was busy contacting Cape Race, and the farther you are, the higher you need your volume, and so when Californian interrupted him, Phillips ripped off his headset and slammed it down on the desk, startled, before putting the headset back on and telling Californian to shut up.

24:20 the guy in the grey hat's brothers are a bit like Mario and Luigi, who are Italian. Italians know it is illegal to put pineapple on pizza. anyway great animation (although at 27:36 it looks like something from a mobile game), I love how it focuses on the story of both some 3rd class passengers and some 2nd or 1st class passengers in my opinion it's better than the 1997 one and it is more accurate than thee 1997 (well, this is a lot more recent, so we know more stuff, but still), and it doesn't focus on this romantic drama thingymajig
