I’m a mom of 2 under 2 and a nursing student. This was my gift to myself for prime day and it’s amazing. If your considering getting it do it. I got it for 499 and it’s worth every penny in my book. It cleans my floors every morning and every night. We named her Ingrid. We also have two dogs (lab and shepherd) and this thing SUCKED UP ALL THE HAIR. like, I’m impressed. Even with my shark stick mop I don’t do this well. I’m very impressed.

I was excited to get this because every Roomba I had was plagued with error codes. I bought this last week for $499 it worked ONCE and now won't work. It took 3 days of going back and forth with customer service to get a refund. They're sending me a return label and once I drop it off at the post office I'll get my money back. It was extremely disappointing and apparently this particular model has a known defect that prevents the light sensors from working properly. Just kept saying error 2 bumper stuck.

What happens if you have a Christmas tree up and you do the mapping but it’s after Christmas does it still avoid that area or no?

If you can't connect the device. Try moving away from the WiFi, check your phone bars when you see the signal is weak. Do the pairing process there and that's it.

I think edges at my door are a bit too high for it to handle,can it still do the mapping if you need to carry it to each room?

Mine won’t connect properly to WiFi - sharing in case anyone else has that issue. I’m retrying tomorrow I’ve given up for now lol and if I still have issues I’ll call their CS.

Sounds like this is your first Roborock bot, I think Roborock is one of the best brands of robot vacuums available, the other two excellent brands are Dreametech and Ecovacs. I actually have 11 robots in my collection and those three brands are my favorite, can't wait to see your full review of this one.

I think it’s all models, probably just charges enough to 100% everyday. Probably takes 6-12 hours for a full charge

I can't connect to the wifi and I have switched my home network back to 2.4gHz as it said it could be a problem but still does not work

It didn’t work for me too until I moved the vacuum close to my router and put my phone pretty much on top of the vacuum.

Here's how to fix that problem, first you must put the entire robot back in the box and close it up. Then return it and get your money back immediately. This thing sucks

If you enjoy wasting money for no reason, buy this immediately. I'm grateful I was able to get my 500$ back after having this thing in my house for 2 weeks. I thought it would help considering my wife returned to work and I wanted to make things easier on both of us. But the moping left my floor with mop drags everywhere not worth using it. The vacuum does work great but I rather use the shark vacuum and be done in 10 minutes instead of having this robot humming around the house for 1 hour. Worst electronic I've ever bought in my life people. But to each his own you might love it. This was just my personal experience and opinion
