Hi C.A, many many thanks for your valuable reviews. So helpful, gee ! Now as of April 2022, isnt it kinda too late to embark in a S6 MV purchase ? Would you say a newer model covers / surpasses the S6MV features and performances ? Please advise, and than you again. kindest regards, from Paris, France

Hey there! Would you do a review of the airrobo? Seems like a good value at 329 with lidar and self empty

Its amazing how thorough your reviews are. Would yiu rather a S6maxv second hand for 250 V a new q7max at 360? There doesnt seem to be a massive difference between them and money is tight?

I am planning on using it for daily mopping. Will I have to fill it with water every day or does it last for a few days?

Thank you for great reviews. I am thinking about s6 maxv and viomi s9. Are you planning to do a review for viomi s9 too? Thank you

The Viomi s9 isn't readily available in the United States and so it's unlikely that I'll review it.

Can you please put up the review of Roborock S7 before Black Friday sale ends. Want to decide between s7 and s6 maxV as they are at same price point right now

I won't be able to get a video review up in time but I can give you a quick summary. General pickup performance and edge pickup performance on carpet and hard floors is very similar for both robots though the S6 MaxV does deep clean carpets better. It picked up 6g of debris in our deep clean test while the S7 only picked up 3g in the same test. The S7 brush roll tangles just as much with longer hair as the S6 MaxV's brush roll though it is easier to detangle the S7's brush roll because it doesn't have any bristles. Other specifications like bin volume, noise output, and size are very similar for both robots. Both robots also navigate very similarly. The biggest reason to go with the S7 over the S6 MaxV is auto-empty dock compatibility. You can buy a self-empty dock separately for use with the S7. You cannot do the same for the S6 MaxV. The biggest reason to go with the S6 MaxV over the S7 is ReactiveAI. The S6 MaxV has it while the S7 does not. Which robot you buy really just depends on what's most important to you - auto-empty dock compatibility or ReactiveAI. Hope that helps!

@@consumer-analysis Thanks 🙏🏼, that’s a good peace of information. How about sonic vibration motor for mop on s7, is that makes mopping any better?

@@manichowdary5589 Hi, sorry for the delayed reply. My testing showed that no, the vibration on the S7 really doesn't make much of a difference at all in mopping performance.

My S6 max will avoid powercords, but thinner cables like headsetcable or phone chargingcables it will run over and get stuck every single time. Find it funny how it often thinks socks are "pet waste". Also found items such as match-boxes or lighters in front of the fireplace will make it send out a "mayday, in fall danger" if it runs over those. But overall, I love this machine!! My only regret is not buying it sooner.

Do you happen to have two large dogs?Im thinking about buying one, but I have two dogs (and a cat), which means my house is full of dog hairs and sand... On top of that my downstairs area is over 180m2/1940 sq ft. Maybe it's too much for a robot?
@91mariet

@@Dr.BenjiBuddy hmm, if you're using the mop function might have to charge it once during the section. It says it should cover 200kvm though. If you run it daily and remember to empty the bin every day it might work. Still alot easier than to vaccum everything yourself. You can track where it has been on the app. The first week it gathers alot more than ususal, don'tlet it discourage you right away if you end up getting one. After that you'd get pretty much the same amout of dust every day. Empty mine every 3 days on 70 kvm. You still need to pull out the vaccum for your sofa or behind the places it can't reach, but not nearly as often as you would without it. Maybe ask more people or check out what other modells can do before you decide :) After mapping the house, you can always have it work on a specific location while you work on something else. It's great 👍

It's too expensive and a poor overall value. It also catches most of the hair in the rollers which is not acceptable for a vacuum in this price range
