The bigger suction port, you get lower suction compared to the s7 MaxV. The s7 has a slimmer inlet creating more suction.

Thinking about to upgrade to S8 but my S7 still work great except for dry rack and self refilling water tank

The S8 lineup looks amazing but I think the 7 is still great. I can barely catch up with Roborock’s robots. They’re almost as quick as smartphones these days!

The dust which is sucked back to the dock would be stored in a disposable bag as in the older model or?

Yes, the dust is pulled into a self-sealing and disposable bag. There is talk Roborocks will offer a sealed and washable/reusable bag.

How does the vibrations reduce stickiness after spillage? I would rather say it helps with cleaning the dried up stains, not with reducing stickiness 😂

Any idea how well it mops the edges near the walls? Most robot vacuums are not able to mop due to its circular shaped mopping pads. This 2x surface area can mop better?

If you have the "Reactive Obstacle Avoidance" feature turned on, it will not get right up to the edge. This helps avoid it from bumping into things. (It will also not get close to furniture legs, etc.) If you turn that feature off, it will clean right up to the edge.

112/5/20開收到s8 pro Ultra ，充電後隔天第一次使用就出現故障！說污水箱沒蓋好，髒水一直洗不回去，溢流出來！自己找了客服中心，也不知道什麼原因，只能叫你填表單送回去檢修，然後就進入遙遙無期的等待期。客服人員訓練不足，因沒告知清楚，機台與機器人都要把水排掉，我只排了機台就裝箱包好！後來自己想說問一下機器人要不要好了，才說也要排水，要讓他自己拖到沒水後才能送回，不然送回來算水損，不負責。所以我承認自己有沒耐心的跟客服爭執一下。因為花錢還受罪覺得很倒霉。只能說，對待他們客服不能沒耐心！因為後續打電話都不接，只慢慢回覆你訊息！！！目前還在等物流來收回機台，已等6天，還沒來收，然後在遙遙無期的等待掃地機器人檢修。花四萬買經驗，這輩子絕對不會在買他們家的產品！！！本來就用過其他兩家的掃地機器人，都覺得很好！想說搬家，再試看看另一家掃地機器人，結果最貴最爛，最多人代言商家服務最爛。大家三思！！
