Comparing the specs of the Roborock S7 MaxV, S7 Plus, S6 MaxV and S6 Pure. Which is right for YOU in 2022?
With the introduction of the new S7 MaxV Ultra it's harder than ever to choose which is right for your home. While it looks incredible, for some people with multi-level homes it would be better to buy 3 S6 Pures, one for each floor, for the same price as a single S7 MaxV Ultra.

Currently never had a robot vac. After research I had locked into the s7 plus. But after hearing about the maxv I'm waiting to go all in.

I have the s7 plus and the 3d map is not that good they say. I can't add or remove walls, the fourniture given to place are not mutch and I don't know why having this aption at all if you can't do anything in it. For the rest I love the s7 plus. I have always the mopping on (and never the air thing, didn't see any difference). For the mopping are you guys always using water or do u also add some soap or something like that?

@@anisbehhadi You had me quite confused for a little bit there! That's what we found too (and I think we mentioned in our review that we found the 3D map a bit of a gimmick). One of these days it'll become useful though so we can't write it off until we've tried it on the new S7 MaxV. :)

What happens if there's some liquid in the path? Does it avoid that spot, vacuum it, or will it mop over it?

Most likely go straight through it. High probability the robot would be fine too unless it’s very deep.

@@RobomateTV seems like it could cause issues if the robot vacuums liquid in as well, dust and liquid could be a bad combo when it tries to auto empty the bin.

Yes, it definitely can make auto emptying worse. I’m more talking about accidental wet spills than deliberately using it to clean water. Eventually it would damage the suction motor on the robot/get water in places it shouldn’t.

is 2500pa sufficient for carpets (ie is the 5100pa of the MaxV overkill?)

The truth is, because they both have the same battery capacity the MaxV will need to recharge pretty quickly on max suction anyway, so you'll end up using it on 2500 most of the time

Background music is a bit loud imo Hard to hear what’s being said. Anyhow, the price between the S7 MaxV and the S7 MaxV Ultra is pretty significant. I just want a good mop as I already have an S5

I'll stick with my Roborock S7 plus 💥🏆Although newest firmware updates made the lidar and navigation worse not to mention the blue light comes on on carpet which is for mop mode even though it's on carpet and I don't have it programmed to mop.

Oh really? That’s bizarre - I hadn’t heard that from anyone else yet. What date was the update? I have too many vacuums to keep track

I think you are saying what is happening to me. When I have mine on mop only it will still do passes on the carpet even though it’s in deep mop mode only. Kind of weird that it will lift the mopping pad and do passes on a carpet in straight lines as if it was vacuuming even though it is in mop mode, with the mop up.

@@pklemm1 Hmm, that is bizarre but I must admit I never do "mop only" runs and I suspect most others don't either, so that may be happening to everyone. I imagine you can still set no-mop zones on your carpet if you want it to save time.

good evening can i ask a question I bought the roborock s7 maxv... is it true that anyone does it anyway, do I want the roborock s7 maxv plus or the s7 maxv plus ultra?

Hope you're enjoying the new robot! It depends - if you just want the auto-empty station go with the Plus but if you want that added feature of having the mop cleaned by the Ultra station then I would go with that. The Ultra station is pretty cool - but it's basically whether it's worth it to you :)

I bought s7+ and I felt regret cos I didn’t know there is S7 pro ultra I should have bought that and bought hen I saw G10 and I don’t know why there are so many version

The S7 is still good 👍 if you have two levels, then maybe one day you can get another one for the other level
