@@Xairs_ So if a person needs metal covering on the outside for some reason and it's just that without out mechanical or electronic component, does that person become a robot as well? That's basically what you're saying. Unless it's mechanical on the inside as well, which the leviathan wasn't, there's no way it can be a robot.

Robocop is more a cyborg than robot, has organic components instead wholly mechanical. Any of Iron Man suit aren't robots, they are advanced armor that can be worn by a person. Robots aren't usually hollow enough for a person, unless you're talking about pilotable mechs, but those are whole different stories. Many of these are mechs that need pilots and aren't capable autonomus control or function, robots usually don't need a pilot.

The Iron Man suits were able to work without being worn in IM3, operated by JARVIS. Not sure if they qualify then?

@@strangefruit42 One, they were operated remotely either by Tony Stark or the Jarvis, not fully autonomous, and followed commands. Two, unless we're talking giant mechs that can be piloted, too hollow on the inside. Three, They don't have their own processor or brain to act, think, or function independently. So being remotely controlled by an A.I. does not count.

@@Tyrannosaurus1993 An android is till a robot though. More of a humanoid robot that looks (and even acts) human. But if its structure has no organic components, which in most medium Astro does not, then it's a robot no matter how human it looks.
