oh my gods, thanks for the memories! I was in the crowd when this happened and I tell you, it was even funnier because they didn't air the fact it took nearly 12 men around 10 minutes to get Psycho on his treads again XD

Watching this for the first time today on Australian TV, I love that extra detail lol I looked at it when it flipped and was like "that looks heavy the way it fell. Like it didn't flip, it tipped. That's gonna take a lot of dudes to right." lol

Sir Killalot is the only House Robot never to have been flipped. Special mention to Dead Metal that was only ever flipped once in series 7.

Ah yes... still dead metal survived series 1,2,3,4,extreme, 5,6, extreme 2 before being flipped in series 7.

Firestorm's flipper Is more hydraulic, which is why its capable of lifting something several times heavier than itself. Unlike Chaos 2, Bigger Brother and Wheely Big Cheese which are more explosive. There is also that walking robot that made a brief appearence on the show which would be capable of lifting Psycho and Killalot as well.

Firestorm was Always my fav! Algonside with Panic Attack, both robots were not only built very weel but also their drivers were the best.

Hypno Disc was a showman, bollocks robot but it was great fun to watch. He could savage the more poorly built robotos but the sturdy ones (razer, behemoth, anything not made of balsa wood) were too tough.

Bollocks robot? Hardly, was amazingly built, and you could say the same about Razer, it had trouble piercing tougher armour.

even so, mr psycho weighs in at just over 600kg if memory serves me right. you're talking roughly half a tonne in weight, for a robot of that size to do that, it is, if nothing else, entertainign as hell to watch

Sir Killalot is 280kg but isn't as tall, so is much harder to flip... he is front heavy though so tends to topple forward sometimes. Mr. Psycho, on the other hand, is a whopping 750kg, so the fact that Firestorm was able to lift him speaks a lot for the sheer power of its flipper.

To things piefacepvp firestorm is made to flip not destroy and deanopiano mr.phsyco weighs more than hypnodisc Matilda and shunt all together when chaos 2 couldn't even flip razer and 13 black mr.phsyco weighs like 766kg but razer and 13 black only weigh 200kg

I know razer is the most popular robot their is and I do love him but something about firestorm makes me like him a little more and I'm not sure hypnodisc is more popular than firestorm,but I do like hypnodisc as well but firestorm would have to be my favorite

For a start it's all aobout Mr psycho's weight distribution upon Firestorm, and once Mr Psycho overbalanced on firestorms right side, the flipper activating soon after the body of Mr Psycho left the wedge of Firestorm, giving the illusion firestorm flipped him.

SuperMgs2011 Not enough people were watching it, so they canceled the show due to poor ratings.

and also the storm 2 controversy. The producers messed so much with the show it got noticed by fans who then turned against the show

Couple of factors, channel 5 brought it to renew it for 5 years, not taking into account how much it would cost to make it. obviously they determined it was too much, so they only did the one series, put it on at inconsistent times and days, and then claimed no-one was watching it. It couldn't get good rating because no-one knew when the hell to watch it, I was a big robotwars nut back the day and i missed half the episodes because I never knew when to watch them, it was so bad they didn't even appear in TV guides at the right time.
