I grew up listening to the Bee Gees, & you have no idea how happy it makes me, to see the younger generation discover the music we fell in love with !!! All three brothers had amazing falsetto's, however, Barry Gibb, in my opinion, has the most unique falsetto, because in his falsetto, he also used his vibrato, which is very rare! Thank you so much for this! They were brothers, & Barry is the last one, but please review more of their music, you will not be disappointed. They span over many decades, & crossed quite a few genres 😍 I also believe, that if there is music in Heaven, it would sound like the Bee Gee's ❤️❤️❤️ I would love you to start closer to their beginnings in the late 60's & work your way up to their more current.

Bee Gees stand for The Brothers, Gibb. They were brothers. Barry, the oldest; the one in the middle; Robin on Barry's right, and Maurice on Barry's left. Robin and Maurice were twins. Another impressive fact about their music; this was before Auto Tune. This is what they REALLY sounded like. So glad you enjoyed them.

@@RobSquadReactions - You need to hear Robin's voice. Amazing range and vibrato. He said he sang with his heart, not his voice and sang many of their earlier hits. Barry said Robin's voice was "killer" and Maurice said Robin's voice "Grabbed your heart". Very unique. A good choice, "I Started a joke" live in Melbourne 1989. "Bodyguard" is another great Robin lead. All three brothers could sing falsetto and had tremendous range. They wrote over 1000 songs for themselves and people like Streisand, Diana Ross, Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton, Dionne Warwick, Celine Dion.

@@RobSquadReactions The boys first live performance was @ Gaumont Cinema, Manchester, 1956. Barry was 10, and fraternal twins Robin & Maurice were 7. The family moved to Australia and in 1959, the boys were discovered by racing driver Bill Goode and DJ Bill Gates, along with Barry Gibbs and mother Barbara Gibbs, named the boys The BGs; eventually stylized *The Bee Gees* and standing for _The Brothers Gibb._ They performed *Blowing In The Wind* on Australian TV in 1963. (on yt) Their first hit record, *Spicks & Specks,* (on yt) was in Australia 1966. Rbt Stigwood, partner of Brian Epstein (Beatles mgr) signed the brothers to a 5yr contract in Feb 1967. The end result was the record _The Bee Gees 1st_ which contained their first international hit with folk ballad *New York Mining Disaster of 1941.* (on yt) From there The Bee Gees' destiny as music legends was inevitable.

Yeah. Barry, with the lion's mane, was beautiful. They were brothers. That's why their voices blended so well. It was instinct. They had MANY great songs. They wrote for themselves, and others. By the time they did this song, they had been writing music for 20 years. So their catalogue is pretty vast. Even though they were young, some of their first songs were just as moving as this one. These brothers had an ethereal talent that visits earth only once in a very great while. Sadly, Barry, who was the oldest, is the only one still alive.

Most people know the BeeGees from their song Stayin' Alive. I grew up in their pre-disco era and Words was my fave (they started out more as an R&B group). For something newer, For Whom the Bell Tolls is incredible. Sadly, only Barry is still with us, and he's still recording. Their song To Love Somebody was originally written for Otis Redding, but he passed before he could record it, so the BeeGees did it themselves (and it's been covered over 100 times by other artists).

3 brothers = brothers Gibb. 1960s start, comeback in the 70s and redefined disco. Prolific songwriters who've written so many hits they're in the Guinness Book of Records. Staying Alive, Jive Talking, How Deep is your Love, You should be dancing...the list is endless!

Too Much Heaven was the first #1 Billboard Hit who raise 15 million dollar for the Children of UNICEF movement - the gave all 100% royalty for this project, and for sure it was the eight number one in a row in 1979 - please check their biggest banger like Stayin Alive, How Deep is Your Love, More Than a Woman and indeed the amazing Dance Tunes of the whole Disco Aera Night Fever and You Should be Dancing - all solid number ones for months, world wide from the phantastic Brothers Gibb and indeed on the legendary best selling soundtrack of all time Saturday Night Fever (63 million) the second best selling longplayer after Michael Jacksons Thriller, welcome in the rabbit hole and the biggest catalogue in the music history 😉 🍾🔥

Decided to find your first reaction to the Bee Gees and the start of the love fest. ❤ Great reaction. Makes me so happy when younger people love them as much as I do.

Back in the day, we didn’t SEE very much of the singer or musicians like today, but we heard their songs on the radio or bought singles or albums to play on stereos . Yes, Barry was handsome, but their music is what stood out, and BeeGees rocked!

Hey Jay I love watching you and Amber discovering all this great music over the past year. This vid is particularly great because it was when you discovered your fav band and your boy Barry. Keep up the great work and the open minds!

Any song you pick by the Bee Gees will be slammin. The two brothers on either end are Robin and Maurice, the twins. R.I.P. twins. Barry is the brother in the middle. These guys are iconic; go down that rabbit hole Boo. It's worth it!👍🏾👵🏿🎵❤
