I think having the podcast on the main channel is totally fine. I believe what's important is that you guys have been releasing skits, clips from the livestreams, and public videos again inbetween the podcasts again. Good to keep a variety on the output. I know some folks get abit glossy eyed when they see three weeks of podcast releases only.

I had a similar situation to Rocco with Disneyland security but on Star Wars Nite over a Black Series Poe Dameron helmet. The helmet covers my head and has a face shield visor so they were iffy on letting me through, and I ended up bringing it back to my hotel room. That same night I walked by multiple people wearing the same helmet. There's always that one security guard that's "doing their job" with this stuff that ends up getting overlooked by every other security person.

Per Rocco's question about the podcast if you had asked me in 2023 if the podcast should be an another channel I'd say definitely but now with the steady sketch videos coming out every other week I think the podcast is fine staying on the regular channel. Feels like both can live here for sure. I think for awhile it felt like the podcast was all that was being uploaded so having some variety helps.

My best friends and I went to Boston for the Halloween weekend, in 1996. We made sure to stop at Bull & Finch Pub (Cheers). I saved a bunch of stuff from there.. All of the menus, printed napkins, matches, drink coasters, and I bought a shot glass with the Cheers logo. Great memories from that trip. RE: splitting podcast off: I think one of the characteristic things about you guys is how you're not easily categorized, which feels more real to me. Your main channel being a mix of skits, podcasts, announcements and more is part of that. I'm following mega64, and I'm getting everything. You guys have a box of chocolates approach. Rocco I think the X ans S are on the same infrastructure. The S just runs on a lower end graphics card and has those settings turned down. Microsofts issue is they're still making games for the Xbox ONE, the last gen console which is different. It's super confusing on my series S because you HAVE to buy everything through the Xbox store and you have to make sure you're buying the right versions of a lot of games. I bought the Lego 2k Drive game last month, it's like a year old and they have one version for 59.99 and then one for 69.99 that says "optimized for series X/S". The worst part is the console is backwards compatible so you could accidently buy the older gen version and still play it but not know you're playing the last gen version via backwards compatability instead of a new game on your new gen console.

Only Rocco has the vison to experience Wonka.

I would legit argue that the Podcast is just as big as a part to Mega 64 as the skits. No matter what has happened throughout the years, the podcast is one of the things that had stood the test of time. So I think it should stay on the Main Chanel.

Per hosting the podcast on this channel discussion: I've been watching Mega64 forever, but only watching the podcast since ~ep 475. Up until then, each time a Mega64 skit vid popped up in my algorithm I would check out the channel to seek out more skits that I had missed since I was not subscribed. Upon going to the video section, the quantity of podcast videos I saw gave the impression that this was just another podcast channel with hundreds of episodes, and I was turned-off with the thought of having to invest into something I perceived I was so far behind on. It wasn't until I was bored one day that I gave the podcast a chance and have been a subscriber since. I have often wondered if other skit enjoyers have had a similar experience and that it has hurt sub #'s. It continues to baffle me that Mega64 doesn't have millions of subs, but that's just my 2 cents.

45:46 there’s a video of a guy who did this, his girlfriend lost her custom gameboy at the airport, but it came in a case that had an AirTag in it. It was a gift from the guy and he put a lot of effort into it, so he traveled to the person’s neighborhood to get it back, he didn’t find it right away, but eventually could hear the AirTag beep, and it was someone who actually worked at the airport. It’s an entertaining well put-together video, I recommend it.

I don't have a strong opinion on where to place the podcast, lol. I do think it would be harder to find if you put it on another channel, though. KZfaq removed the ability to have related channels on your page, for some reason? So I'm not sure if you want to go through the trouble of announcing it on your page and have people possibly miss out on the memo.

I am completely neutral on having a separate channel for the podcast, does not matter to me. Just worried it'd cut the views for some time, but who knows. Maybe over time it would benefit yall and drive up engagement on your skits and whatnot here. Just be sure to plug it for some time before switching over

When it comes to the Channel Seperation you also have to think about the Numbers (which you prob. already have). Starting a completely new Channel for it would be annoying, but most Fans that watch it would probably resubscribe. I think most people said it because for a long time the "Main Channel" was mainly the Podcast, and the Videos tab just looked like only Podcast, so most figured, why not have it seperate, so the Skits and other Videos get to be the main Product of the Main Channel. I was in that camp, but the way it looks now is way better and i don't mind it, because there's a balance to it. Also the way you have grouped/sectioned the KZfaq Page is way better, there's also the new Podcast tab, and all that makes it look way cleaner, instead of a wall of Mega64 - The Podcast. Also Algorithm, whatever it does, so posting more on the Main = more engagement probably.

Putting the podcast on a different channel would clean up the uploads for new viewers. The podcast has already had a die-hard following from long-time fans that they'll have no issue moving to a new channel to watch them, but it leaves the question of what to do with the 300+ episodes already on the main channel.

I'd move the podcast to another channel, all of them. Then you'd have this highly concentrated punch of skits, bits and streamed events that the KZfaq algo can easily keep pushing. People will end up lost in a marathon with KZfaq recommending more and more from the main channel. Also worth looking into is recommending what video to watch next at the end of videos to help viewers get trapped in a rabbit hole. That's the trick, there's tons of channels don't upload too frequently, but have a massive library of videos that constantly get recommended by KZfaq. Mixing in the podcast into that is mixing the core audience with the casual mega64 enjoyer, putting off those who were only really looking for skits, bits and events. For us who enjoy it all it doesn't make a difference. But when trying to get more main channel subscribers I think cleaning the entire channel from podcasts and concentrating it all down to the core things would do wonders as far as the recommendations algorithm goes. It may be a bit rough at first, you may have to do a transition where you upload temporary podcast "ads" pointing at the podcast channel. Ones that after a few days get deleted just to keep the main channel podcast free for the algorithm.

Put the podcast on the archive channel. Most people who are into the podcast I would imagine are subscribed to the archive channel, then put shorts on this channel as a notification to let people know when the new episodes of the podcast get posted to MEGA64Archive. Do NOT under any circumstances, start a podcast only channel, you guys have way too many channels already.

Definitive opinion on the Podcast location. Podcast should be one video on a brand new podcast channel. Aftershow and other personal streams should be on the Archives channel. Each podcast should be broken up into probably 7-10 individual clips for a brand new clips channel. Not just jokes or funny moments, but whole discussions, movie review, news topic discussion, etc. This episode could bring in new viewers specifically searching for Wonka Experience or PAX East 2024. You're already recording all of this stuff, might as well get it out there and make it easier to find. It's just more work for Johnny, I apologize. But most people are just watching podcast clips these days, myself included. I haven't seen a whole podcast in a long time other than this one.

I think if the podcast wasn't on this channel and this channel was just skits/videos, I think more of those videos would see more views. I think the upload schedule of so many podcasts on this channel kind of hurts your main content and the people who watch the podcast will follow to where ever it ends up.

I've always been on the side of podcast on the archive channel. I love the podcast, probably my favourite thing you guys do, but I do think it bloats the main channel. Also anecdotally I've seen people link your channel on to new viewers and the response was 'so they're like a podcast channel?', which is a bit of a bummer.

Doubt this will be seen but I've already typed it out If moved on another channel, the channel would need to expand upon the supplemental content - higher frequency of clips, shorts, etc. with a larger focus on spreading said clips and bits onto other platforms like wildfire; not just the main pod either, but the other shows and streams would need a similar overhaul to keep a consistent standard of quality - the move should be scaled up with those ideas in mind in order to avoid it becoming a dumping ground for non-main channel content. Worried the move will end up doing poorly if not carefully handled - Mega64 Network would be great if handled properly! Otherwise, I think it's fine where it is idfk man

Lowkey I hate when a group I like splits their content across 20 million different channels. Just gets redundant to a certain point. Besides if it's just the podcasts people don't care about, who cares? It appears once a week in the feed what's the big deal
