Kinda funny how songs with relatively low total scores end up having some of the tougher squeezes - this song only had 3 acts but there's a lot of pressure on each of them, especially the bridge / chorus 4 act.
Even the first act wasn't as simple as it may seem, it's for ticks so there's still pressure to hit the early whammy as early as possible and push the front end right to the edge of the timing window to maximize the points from the YB sustain. This run was pretty spectacular for that, only 2 points from my highest ever.
Chorus 3 is similar but ends on an actual note so it's just a regular tight squeeze, was probably the easiest act overall but I only had 2 leftover frames of OD on this attempt.
The real run killer was the bridge act though - it requires almost perfect whammy at extremely low delay to finish the overlap with a full bar and then use the pushed back whammy sustain end to squeeze in the first red note on the back end.
It's a tough squeeze; I missed it on every run for about 30 mins until finally getting it to work, but that run dropped a handful of ticks from the low delay and finished 10 points lower.
This attempt was much better, must have gotten the whammy just right because I finished with a surprising 3 frames of leftover OD on the back end and only dropped 3 points in ticks. It's a lot harder than it probably looks to keep the sustain ends fully intact at delay like this, and you need all that delay to get the squeeze and better ticks on the first act.
This score beat 1st place on SH by 355 points.
