Could probably have used a little more yellow for the visuals, honestly.
Getting optimal* was nice, there's 3 good ol' fashioned doubles but the first 2 at the beginning of the song are more notably challenging than the finale - the timing is right in that range where they feel pretty tight on both ends but with the 1-frame HOPO buffer on the back end it becomes really fun to play since they feel relatively fair and consistent.
The last one in the outro is looser on timing but with a caveat - since it starts and ends on dynamically tight 32nd notes instead of 16ths like the other 2 there's some extra caution required to not delay the front end too long.
Got an unfriendly reminder of how tight that timing really is on my first attempt at it. Whoops.
Didn't make that mistake again on the 2nd round.
Other than that the only obstacles are 2 not overly tight whammy squeezes and a rather unfortunate glitchy tick that I lost in the verse 2 sustains on literally every attempt. So true optimal would be a single point higher with better luck.
This score beat 1st place on SH by 486 points.
Seems weird to skip the easiest double to salvage just 100 points from single squeezing the 3-note chord back end and 14 ticks but SH has never been known for logical strategies on this game.
