Glad you enjoyed it 55, I had to be a bit conservative with this one to make sure most of the rock was left on the road as they want to use it for erosion control works near by.

If you ever get tired of wresting the Roo, try this; 2.5 meters of 15 mm good rope, and a 100 rope coupler. Slide coupler onto rope, Tie a loop on each end to go over handles. After a good collar, put foot in rope/coupler at comfortable height. Rope can be criss crossed over handle for varying height adjustment. After the good collar, just put as much weight as you want on drill via weight shift. As usual, make sure you have a clean surface so you don't slip. Good balance a must. Much less tiring than holding onto it, plus you won't develop carpal tunnel as fast.

Great work. The big chunk cartwheeling towards the camera was a great image. It's very sad to see those huge burnt areas. In the 60s my father worked for a rd construction firm out of Mitcham Vic. working on the Donna Buang rd.I have no idea how much rock was bulldozed over the edge after each blast. The old man brought home some free floating boulders for the front yard. they still show up on the satellite view of the old place.

Hello Dave I have watched your last three videos and I must say your work is very impressive. Especially when you can let some rocks fly, one chuck almost took your camera out👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Man I love these un-covered shots! Too bad way too many people would be kinda annoyed about multi-hundred-pound hunks of stone flying about in their back yards so you could shoot un-covered more often! I think your camera was wetting itself at the 11:45 mark with that big chunk rolling right toward it. xD

We shoot our rock at the quarry uncovered and if a hole blows out its really exciting. The resident across the highway was not thrilled at all when the rock ended up in the living room. They do a better job of packing the stemming and the distance from the top of the hole and where the change is placed is farther than before. This makes my job a little harder since we end up with more boulders that don't fit in the crusher and I have to sort them out.

You know this is beautiful. The video has to be slowed down to see what’s taken place. Just amazing. Cracked the rock then blow it out of the ground. I have no clue about explosives but it is clear to see the crew that did this job used the right amount of charge to crack the rock and the bigger charge to Finnish the job. The proof is it was just enough to rise thr rock up and not too much to toss rock for miles. I have seen blasting on jobs before but I know nothing about it. Love to see professional work.
