So true billy, I was on the smack for 25 years up until 2019. And the biggest thing I find dealing with is my feelings, learning all them things again at 52 years old. You really do inspire me billy knowing it’s not only me with every day struggles.

I was a heroin addict for 13 years, and I'm 18 year's clean, but not one day hasn't gone by that I don't think about it, but thank god I've managed to stay on the right side.. It's very hard for the first year of being clean, because you have to deal with reality, and that can be very hard, so I changed and got tuff on meself, and started a fresh again with new friends and a new place to live, you need to change you're hole lifestyle if you want to get clean and stay clean. Great story Billy, and fairplay to ye 🍀💚🙏💙

Hey Billy, great content. I've lived in Thailand for nearly 20 years now, really enjoyed your story as I could relate to some of the places you ended up in over here. My Ma died a couple of years ago and I took it kind of badly, started finding my way into drugs and to be honest your story has made me realise I've got to pack it in. I've got a beautiful wife and 12 year old daughter and a lot to live for. your story has inspired me to pack it in and start paying more attention to life again. Thanks mate, tomorrow I'm packing it all in. And that's largely down to you....xx

Lol and you think you've done bad all your life, well when you are shown the good you have done in this life, the humans you have inspired and helped, and all with your short little videos, my my who would have thought it eh kid. YOU ARE A THOROUGHLY DECENT AND GREAT HUMAN BEING BILLY. I thank you on behalf of the countless you have helped and the countless more you will go on to help. In just the short time you have been doing videos like this blessing the world with your insights, you have made up for and reversed any bad you may have done a thousand times over. You have inspired, helped and done more good in the short time you've been doing this than most humans do in a whole lifetime pal. As humans go.... your a cracker mate 😉

Great words billy best ive ever seen someone put out on addiction , that 8 month on g.o.a.d will have given you tough long days of weighing up your life 6 weeks down there made me do a lot of thinking, analysing your past and present going through the motions and emotions then when door opens on governors rounds standing tall and staunch full off bravado , living life on lifes terns is tough when your institutionalised and then you've got a house a kid and responsibilities, but your proof it can be done, keep strong mate ive got no desire for drugs but i used to , i just need to lose the desire for a few pints for good not just a month here and there , be lucky mate

Hiya Billy... love how you supplement the podcast with these words of wisdom... keeping it real keeps us safe! sobriety is hard, but the best feeling is gaining people's trust again, ppl are scared of letting you back in, too painful ... but ppl will see your change gradually... just won't be weeks n months... more like years, maybe never, but you can't control that... life in life's terms is hard! I've been clean and using so many times the amount of clucks I've done and gone back to it is stupid. Was a year clean and my daughter's mother committed suicide and I ended up back on the gear. I still ain't grieved using to numb my emotions. Now have my daughter with me full time she was staying with me 5 nights a night before her mother passed but I was clean then. Currently on day 3 of raw withdrawal and I have faith I can get thru it this time. The reality and what you say coping with real life and coming to have to grieve is the hardest as I've numbed it with drugs for months. But I can't hide it anymore no one knows I was using Ive held a job down throughout all my addictions but I can't hide it anymore. Thanks for the video I needed it at this time your story is inspiring and motivating. Keep up with the great content take care god bless
