Amazing to me that a Blues Legend like Little Milton is talking about another music Legend (one of the biggest of the 20th century) and dropping some real 20th century pop-culture history lesson... and an awesome interview like this only has so few views and likes after being on KZfaq since 2012. He's saying the same thing BB King and many others from back then said about EP. Much respect to Little Milton for keeping it real and giving Elvis his props. RIP to them All.

HE WAS JUST TELLING THE TRUTH! !

I met Milton in Helena Arkansas in 1977. I was 14 and we became good friends. Milton was probably the most underrated guitar player because he was awesome. I loved BB King but Milton to me was better . I met Wayne Bennett, and Bobby Bland ( Great Voice ) Milton was right up there with them . He was probably one of my biggest influences as an artist . I miss him . I came from Germany at age 11 and my father was a drummer. By age 12 , I was working with Sam Carr. The whites in town didn't want to have anything to do with us since my mother was from Hungary and my baby sister was mixed. The Black people loved us because we were all just trying to survive. Years later Milton would send me a miniature guitar ( Hand painted ) Stratocaster with the peacock stating Proud on it for my 40th birthday. I was inducted into the Rockabilly Hall of Fame on June 3rd 2011. Milton was somewhat like a uncle to me . He treated me with sincere kindness and I can only hope he's looking down from Heaven.
