Yes, I must admit it made me smile but I can also appreciate the skill that went into both the dancing "La Comparsita" (Rock Hudson and Nancy Walker) and filming the scene as well. "Cross and Double Cross" my all time favourite episode of "McMillan and Wife".

Oh she was. I waited on her towards the end of her life, coke bottle glasses and all. She loved gay men of all ages and took joy in our gay customers walking up to her and saying Who would you rather live with? Your sister or a goat? I told her that she stole Best Foot Forward from Lucy, and she howled with delight.

It’s so sad that people had to keep things hidden from the world because they thought they would have lost everything if they revealed they were gay. Roc Hudson, Richard Chamberlain, Barry Manilow, Raymond Burr. They were/are all lovely people, fans would have loved them anyway. It was the studio executives who were homophobic.
