Simon rather graciously agreed to play on an album I was working on. His playing was ferocious. He gave me a working mix back at no extra charge that absolutely slams. He also had useful and encouraging commentary that really helped. Unfortunately I fell quite ill, and needed energency surgery of a rather serious nature, and unlike most, have still not fully recovered so it is on hold. There are still parts left to do, and I am not in “playing shape”. At some point it will get released, but it deserves to be finished properly.
