Join along as we get the grapple bucket plumbed up and working after a long time of owning it. Then making moves as the round is good enough on the other farm to get rolling and prepared for fertilizer. Thanks for watching along.

Its different place to place on when to plant. Some people forget that. Corn here in north Alabama is over chin high right now. You do you Duffy. People like to hate on what others do. KZfaq just makes complaining on others easier cause no face to face. Please dont assume some people hate on you if they offer you advice or opinions. It probably seems like some are against you because of a few haters. I enjoy the content and appreciate the ride you have carried us on especially the last few years. You growing just like the crops and the farm. Good work. Thank you and all the farmers in the country for feeding America.

Hey Chris, I don't comment much but just wanted to say I've been watching since about '21-'22 and have been a fan ever since. Props to you for all your hard work and making time to video it all besides! We are behind here too in NE Wisconsin, trying to sneak in field work between rain showers. Just received 1" on Monday, more rain in the 10 day forecast. Keep on keeping on buddy!

Put the fert on when all is sown .no dusty rot to machines and one night of dampness and it's in the soil .done it for years and never had a problem .

I never bothered putting fertilizer on till at least a week and a half after I seeded. No sense getting to quick the seed has enough stored energy to get a plant started.

Be a good idea to make the hydraulic pipes a semi permanent part of the loader and have quick release at the attachment end, then you could use them for other attachments?

With farming its all to do with cash flow and the weather. Both very unpredictable. And have to be very flexible. In your thinking..

A fifth-wheel equipped Bully with rubber tracks is worth twice its weight in gold on wet years doing silage chopping. There's also a contractor in Europe that has long tracked butt-dumpers that can operate in boot sucking mud.

Last John deere we had was a 6810..... not sorry to see the back of it to be honest but we had a 2850 which I'm thinking was very similar in spec as your 2755.... it had a pickup hitch and a quickie loader..... lovely tractor to operate.

If you are close enough to home, use the rocks for driveway fill where the water might wash it out otherwise?

@kennethwhitmer423222 күн бұрын
So when I was growing up on a farm almost every farmer had at least one pickup set up to be flat towed and hitches on all the tillage and seeding equipment. might be worth considering since you are a one man show.

Dealing with rocks suck! Have delt with them all my life. One of my best purchases was a rock rake then a picker and now i can sell them for extra cash to a few excavation companys for lake rip rap, i think i have payed for the rake and picker from selling the rocks, but it has taken a few years for that!

As good of a rock picker, as I"ve seen in use on U-tube. Ya may find a dump trailer useful to lower trips to the field edge.
