I hope this game keeps developing new “ultra shortcuts” whether unintended or not. That’s what has kept the Mario Kart Wii community alive for 16 years! I’m literally playing the game as I type this comment.

Unfortunately unlike Mario kart, fortnite updates weekly/bi-weekly, so any unintended shortcuts could be patched and all the time spent practicing said shortcuts will be wasted. I’ll be glad to be wrong though

@@DerpSavant epic employees are currently on break, so this is the one of the few exceptions where glitches currently in the game aren’t going to be patched for longer than a month. Still, that’s faster than most games are able to update

The reason why people die to nothing is because some of the track is badly done and glitched in a way where if ur car drives over it it just insta explodes, on Curvy Canyon 2 its right after that part were u chain drift and jump over the Hazard, u will ser a hazard kinda diagonal pointing up, if u go on the left side of it the chances of u dying to nothing just cuz ur car passed above that section u dead, happened to me like 5 times and ive seen ppl beside me happening the same. Its just scuffed

I really do not like the catch up mechanic, if you make mistakes on lap 1 and 2 but someone in first doesnt but then they make a mistake on lap 3 and you dont, that can fully cause a win for you and its absurd, if you make the mistakes you should get punished, not everybody else

Yeah I really don't know why I went through the floor there LOL. Same thing happened to a buddy of mine the day after. Really hoping they fix the game because the inconsistent physics are making it agonizing to level up. Thanks for featuring my clip in the video lads :).

I just love seeing how the different strats have improved since rocket racing came out. I definitely need more practice on these maps and drifting as well. I'm in champion, but seeing what needs to be done just seems super difficult to get to unreal, but that's the fun of it! Thanks for showing of the strats.

I once got clipped through the track after getting bumped from the start. This caused me to get a time loss of 20 seconds. (This was in Ranked)

I understand a catch up mechanic for casual ranks. But does it make sense for competitive ranks? Is there a good argument for it? Because it just feels like if you were, in Rocket League, to give all the players with lesser points a slight aim-bot assist. Is that just me?

i always die in bone cavern the same as the clip showed! - It happens when u hit both the single boost pads at the start and then glitches you under the map. its rlly annoying in diamond lobbies!

🤦‍♂️having a rubberbanding mechanic (aka “catch up mechanic” aka good players being nerfed and bad players being buffed) in an online multiplayer game is such a fortnite thing to do. It doesn’t surprise me in the slightest.

I think it's also kind of weird when you consider the turbo mechanic, because it means that you should basically never use it unless it's maxed out (or you're right at the end of the race). It barely matters what the layout of the map is - using turbo before the end doesn't really accomplish much of anything (because even if you get ahead, everyone else will catch up anyway except with more turbo than you), so it should only be done when it costs you nothing.

How do you slam your car back down after whilst airborne? I don't have a controller and I'm not entirely sure about keyboard controls. I'm only in diamond but losing rank because I keep trying different combos but results in crashing usually.

alr so bro, youre in the ball park just not quite a home run. for starters, sidewinder. after you finish going underneath and through the rock, hit the top of the checkpoint and just go flying over the rest. even more of a shortcut right there.

I think people are dying for no reason cuz of lag Because sometimes after u cross one if the checkpoints it dosent count and if ur wifi isn't fixed before the timer ends it tps u back when u get a good connection again

Its a shittttt skip hard to do unpredictable even with tonsss of practise and if u dont do it on the 3rd lap it doesnt even give u enough lead in the first 2 laps to win so you will still lose unless you do it in the 3rd lap which either makes or breaks ur whole race so its not worth it

Taking advantage of a known exploit is considering cheating by most games TOS. Many players have been perma banned from games from taking advantage of exploits. WoW comes to mind. More recently, there was a massive ban wave for exploits in New World.
