hey, as an ex-McKinsey EM myself, the speaker is missing a big part of the EM job; problem-solving. Structuring the problem at the start of the study, identifying hypotheses you want to test and aligning workstreams with the hypotheses to be validated, and constantly pivoting as necessary is one of the most important parts of the job.

@@blissfuly8375 through qualitative and quantitative data - so expert interviews and data models. Usually very iterative process.

You act as a meeting umbrella meaning you go to all the meetings so the people on your team don’t have to and can focus on the actual work that needs to be done.
