why do so many people in the competitive play ends' a match with "lose connection" it looks like it by purpose, as it is always happening when IM way ahead and match are more or less decided. do the opponent benefit from ending a match with "lost connection"?

Jakob When people close app or turn off there Console (which closes the app) it takes awhile for the game to process it then it says lose connection. So prob a rage quit and there is no benefit

@@iinsanityhyper7720 arhh fair enough, I wondered if there were some benefits, like a loss didn't hurt their ranking etc, as I see it so often, the moment the match is more or less over, people dropping their conn on cue.. btw annoying that rocket league hides people's rank class and all the match stats, if they forfeit or they do this" loss of connection". It will only display other players rank class and their match stats if they stay to the end.

@@iinsanityhyper7720 I think you wrong, and there are situations were people will benefit from this loss of connection, not least in comp teamplay, were users will gte a timebann if they drop a match and left teammates hanging by leaving the match.. if they do it with this loss of connection I got a feeling they won't get time bann or hurt of account for letting teammates hanging.
