I was also taught to go up and back and straighten the knees in the air but this is a great way to learn!! I take a rockettes class, a tap class, and two ballet classes at my studio and I can’t imagine my life without dance. ❤

I used to do tap I loved it but when I went to a new studio they taught ballet in a way and I lost my love off tap it became a chore doing it 😢 I wish I could love it again but I found ballet to be love❤❤❤

A double pullback is spank R spank L leap R leap L. It is better to teach is slower like that and then gradually up the tempo. You are teaching it incorrectly when you demonstrated it in the beginning. Don’t want any new tappers to learn this important step wrong!!
