Nowdays hearing this theme makes me think they should have added it to X6 when facing Nightmare Zero as it fits him due to him being a broken and insane copy of Zero

You're probably right. I can figure out how this makes sense. This version sounds like the broke version of the X vs. Zero music from the final version. If Megaman X: Maverick Hunters sold well, it could probably go up to X 6: Maverick Hunters. In X 6: Maverick Hunters, the nightmare enemies that brainwash the hurt maverick hunters can be removed from medium mode, or it could be instant death when they brainwash the hurt maverick hunter, so that you have another chance to rescue them, and once you rescue them, they will not return. Okay, Rainy Turtloid and the two eye boss from Gate's first stage take forever to defeat. Is there anything that will not make them take forever to defeat? I'm talking about how to make the game do a success. The fans now hate X 6, and I also see reasons to hate X 6. I also like X 7 to be improved as well, and do not make the hurt maverick hunters die in that game, and also do not make the lava boss take forever to defeat.

@@sigmatico Mega Man X Legacy Collection is going to still have them done close to the original way. In Mega Man X 5, someone did catch onto that the timer for collision does move by one after selecting the stage, and it still goes on while in the stage, so I think the X Collection from PS2 that I got was either messed up or played the American version where the timer only goes down by one when selecting the stage, and then being still while in the stage. Mega Man X Legacy Collection does seem to add more to the American version, but I think all of that is in the Japanese version.

@@sigmatico I think there will never be a Mega Man 12. About what I read of Mega Man 11, it seems to be getting bad reviews. I was thinking that Mega Man 11 could have an intro stage. I remember Block Man turning into a giant, but that giant robot could be a different robot, and even be the intro stage boss, and I get the catch that whatever he scraps up comes in forms of blocks, but they could be in forms of rocks. Is Block Man easy?

Enzo L. Yea....this one feels more like "FOR JUSTICE!!" then the other one, which gives me a feeling of desperation, like "Why...why do we have to fight...." so it woulda worked great for Nightmare in a sorta "YOU ARE A FAKE!!!" way

It kind of sounds like a phase 2 in the fight. If any of you have played Touhou games before, it sounds like a Last Word phase of the fight, where it seems like you've won, then all of the sudden your opponent gets a massive energy boost for a certain amount of time, while blasting you with everything they've got in a desperate attempt to take you down.

I actually like this version a little more I think. It sounds more dire and heartfelt. More "Damn, I have to fight my best friend..." and less "Yeah let's fight my best friend!" from the in-game version. That's my takeaway though.

i do agree that this theme being used for X6's NZ fight would have been cool, especially since it would just mean replacing the theme so no issues should appear. man NZ's fight on Xtreme Mode is great, wish it was harder but ah well.

Honestly belongs in a reimagining of X6 and Zero1. Compared to the final version that moreso fits a fated battle, this sounds more like it fits when the characters have lost their way and purpose imo.(Which would work really well if Zero Nightmare was more literal instead of "weird failed copy" and we'd have the original idea of the original X being the one to go on a purity-war, which is basically the opposite of what he was supposed to do)

i'm going to be objective with you guys, there is only one part of this that you can call better about this compared to the original, and only if we view it in an isolated scenario(meaning if you ignore the synergy with everything else around it): 0:16, that quick violin or whatever it is sounds like a way better instrument to represent "duelling" than what they used in the final. they should have kept it in a lower octave.
