"Zombie" is a protest song by Irish rock band The Cranberries.[1] It was released in September 1994 as the lead single from their second studio album, No Need to Argue (1994). The song was written by the band's lead singer Dolores O'Riordan, and reached No. 1 on the charts in Australia, Belgium, Denmark, and Germany. As of January 2015, it has been viewed over 200 million times on KZfaq. It won the "Best Song" award at the 1995 MTV Europe Music Awards

This was a song i heard for many years because of a family member and i learned this song on bass first as a way of saying thank you to that family member and now after months of practicing i have learned it on guitar.

I was wondering since i want to learn to play the guitar to get rocksmith. Do you think it's any good for newbies? (Btw i checked it on steam and saw the buttload of songs/DLC and i want to know if there's like a season pass i could get or bundle with most of them inside) Thanks.

As someone who tried to learn with it, it depends on what you're trying to learn. If you want to learn music theory, then no. It doesn't really teach anything about it besides scales. If you just wanna practice technique in a less tedious way, then yeah it's great! You're going to have to do a lot of work outside of it though.

Hey Aiden, did you get it? Im a newbie as well, been learning for about 10 hours now and ive nailed this song on acoustic. Rocksmith certainly helps, but dont entirely rely on it. I spend more time watching this guys hands then i do the actual song if i am honest. Get it on G2a and get the wire from amazon :)

elbryan9 loosley spoken: yes. It also has a small display that shows which tone it is recognizing as well as an meter for how much you still have to tune. But you cant see that here in the video.

elbryan9 pretty much, it all depends on what you're tuning to of course but as long as its in the green then your're tuned to a note on that string. you decide what note though. the thing about it being chromatic is that it picks up all notes on the scale and tells you when you are close to one or not. its pretty hand if you can't tune by ear.

Same here dude. No worries at all. I wish I knew more about guitar I just need to get off my ass. I let my sister and my friend try and play some songs and I chuckle at them trying to hit the notes and I realize that I'm better than them at it because I practice and the songs and learned how to play. It just takes time. I still fuck up all the time.
