Sucks my GPU is basically dead on me so I can't play any more Rocksmith until I get it replaced, and with the GPU shortage in the world who knows how long it will be >< maybe I should try using my amp lol

If you have an audio interface, you can get something similar to the Rocksmith experience by playing along with Guitar Pro (or any other similar software) tabs.

So here's a free but slightly convoluted way of shifting pitch in Rocksmith if you have an audio interface: Google "low-latency Rocksmith OBS streaming." This guide contains a lot of useful information, which includes a way to use plugins before sending sound to Rocksmith. Thus, you can use the awesome Pitchproof plugin for downtuning instead of having to deal with loose strings.
