I wonder if that is how he did it in the studio, I remember seeing live videos where he would play the verses and pre-choruses on the 5th and 6th fret. Either way, awesome playing!

im pretty sure hey played it on 5th and 6th in the studio as well as he has never played it on the first fret

Well firstly, I am delighted that Riff Repeater did a version, and a version so well :) I made this, this is the official tabs from the Nirvanna Songbook.... but playing it on the 5th/6th is easier and sounds better :)

late reply, but all he does is record himself and the game, then overlaps them in a video editor and turns the transparency down on the top layer
