Actually just bought an rpa 9 and am wondering why it won't work with my Sony DA300ES. tried with my polk signature series s55 and also my verwin vega and couldn't get a signal to even light up??....just the power light

I received mine June 12 2019. It wouldn't power up. I talked to the tech at Rockville he said check the fuse. I did. He said Both fuses? It doesn't have two fuses it only has one. It will be on it"s way Monday for a replacement. Anybody besides me had this Problem?

Yes, The computerized IC controlled protection circuitry allows delivery of peak power while preventing overloads

Is that bridge mode mono only? or can it be connected to receiver in bridge mode?

it will produce a mono output, but it will sample from left and right. or it can be set to run a subwoofer from the left and right rca or xlr inputs.

It really depends on what the power of your sub is and what else you have connected to the amp. The bridged output has twice the amount of power coming out of it compared to channel A or channel B alone

How would I connect my 2 Rockville spgn12 passive speakers and my Rockville sbg1154 subwoofer to this amp? Does my sub connect to the bridge? Or any speaker output? Or do I have to buy another rpa9 amp And crossover to connect my sub?

Only the power cable comes with this amp. All other cables have to be bought separately.

I would agree with you, power transformer is very small, very few transistors per channel, the bridge diode where the power transformer output connects don't even have a heatsink. if they want to claim then show how they tested the amp. documents with pictures would show some "evidence".

@@jamnewaccyt I picked up one of these recently for dirt cheap, and it is claiming 250 rims into 8 ohms on each channel, and it feels about right. I have also got a Crest CA2 which is rated at about 150/ch@8, and the rockville does have a little bit more oomph to it. Though not much. At 4 ohms using a set of Yorkville Pulse 2-15" 2 way cabinets compared to the CA2 which is rated conservitively at 200, vs the RPA9 at 400, it seems like they are similar or maybe the rockville is slightly ahead, but its really straining as entailed by its sound going really flat and harsh. My Crest CA4 which is rated 400 RMS into each channel at 4 ohms, is no contest. The CA4 just slaps it silly.
