Despite not being a huge fan of Rod Stewart, I'd be lying if I didn't say some of his songs resonate with me, especially with memories of growing up during the greatest decade, the 80s. This is one of those songs that get stuck in your head regardless of whether you liked it or not. Anyone who grew up in the same decade knows what I'm talking about.

70s, 80s and first half of the 90s all produced a lot of great pop music. What went so horribly wrong I wonder? Grateful to have grown up then and enjoyed it all. Never a TV person but the radio has been the background track to the decades of my life.

@@AP-nw8my excelente, la feria ya cambio muchísimo desde el 98, ya se expandió muchísimo, ya no es tan tradicional como antes algunas costumbres como el de caminar alrededor del jardín del San Marcos ya desaparecieron, ahora los conciertos son masivos y la expo ganadera es más grande.

Yo tengo 38 años y no hay que negar que también actualmente hay buena música simplemente el reggaton no lo es por nombrar algún tipo de genero o música, pero si destacar que estas décadas marcaron la historia de la música y que a la fecha no pasan de moda, yo también escucho toda estas música en particular 70s, 80s 90s. saludos.

I will never forget sitting in the back of my car in my car seat as a kid, listening to rock music and singing words that I understood. So many memories of me listening to that song in the back of the car. on my CD, on my MP3, my iPod. I remember that. I certainly couldn't have grown up with any better music than this. they are absolutely timeless, the music NEVER gets old and they never fail to make the sound PERFECT! a lot of soul and effort put into their work. decades of dedication, gratitude to fans, love of fans. some of the most melodious music I've also heard, nothing compares to. it doesn't get better than them for me!💕💕💕💕

Loved this song since the mid 80's as a small child. My Dad used to play the Body Wishes album in the car all the time and now in my 40's, it is still one of my personal favourite albums that has stayed with me. I don't care what the critics said about this album when it was released, it is everything to me.

It was one of the few albums I had never heard until the early 2000s, and I’d been a huge Rod mark growing up in the 80s and 90s. Camouflage was the first album I ever heard (in 1987, a few years after the fact). When I finally heard Body Wishes, I was shocked at how good it was. But I’m an odd one…I also think Never a Dull Moment blows Every Picture Tells A Story out of the water, and I love all of his albums until Human (except the 86 album, which I think is his worst album ). Body Wishes was mostly brilliant IMHO , and it’s also the last of his mid-period vocal style that he started using on Atlantic Crossing (there were traces of it on Camouflage but not as much).

I've been following Sir Rod Stewart for 58 years & I never get sick of listening to his delightful songs. In fact Rod cheers me up when I'm feeling down. My first concert I saw Rod at The Horden Pavilion in Sydney I was 15years old, my girlfriend & I waited backstage till 4am to catch a glimpse of Rod & our wish came true when security finally let us in Rod's Backstage Room to meet him, and OMG our hearts melted as we raved on about how much we loved & we were his biggest fan. I will never forget how gracious Rod made myself & girlfriend feel. I'll be at Rod's upcoming Concert in March 2022, can't wait.

Eso por supuestísimo. Para mi gusto sólo hay dos cantantes (Bonnie Raitt y Emmylou Harris) que me gustan igual o algo menos que Rod Stewart, el resto de artistas existentes en el mundo los hay buenísimos, buenos, regulares, malos y pésimos, pero Rod, Bonnie y Emmylou son para mi gusto los mejores!!! Personally i couldn't stand most of 80's pop. All the awful sounding synths and electronic drum sets ruined many songs for me. There are some exceptions sure. I was in my teens in those days and we mostly listened to music from the seventies, late sixties, funk, soul, jazz funk, jazz rock. Loved the nineties though but it all went downhill again around 2k+ never to recover again.

Ke recuerdos cuando escucho este tema, tenia yo 9 o 10 añitos, allá por el 1977-1978. Tenia yo un radio Casett marca Sanyo, no se me olvida y la ponian mucho en la radio FM. Escucharlo ahora en 2021 con 53 años ke pasada. Saludos para todo el mundo desde España.

I remember when the pandemic hit and had to be in quarantine. I was 19, going on 20. I spent most of my time locked in my room and listening to music. This song came on and I instantly got hooked on it. I ended up buying the Body Wishes vinyl album for only $5 at the thrift shop a year later.

I loved listening to this tune when it first was released in 1983. I was 9 years old. My old man used to take me to work with him sometimes and the music system was excellent. It's just breaks my heart when I think of how his life turned out, due to Alcohol..
