The three men convicted of murdering Ahmaud Arbery will be sentenced in Glynn County Friday.
A jury found the three white men accused of killing Arbery, a 25-year-old Black man guilty on most of the 29 charges they faced the day before Thanksgiving.
Arbery was shot and killed on Feb. 23, 2020. Cellphone video leaked to the public shows two armed white men in a truck approaching the 25-year-old Black man as he runs down the road. One of the men, later identified as Travis McMichael, and Arbery struggle over McMichael's shotgun before Arbery is shot and collapses.
Travis McMichael, his father Gregory McMichael and William "Roddy" Bryan, who recorded the video, are all charged with murder in Arbery's death.

Not quite everyone, what happened was a tragedy, what happened was not simple and the outcome was not intended if it were I would ask for life sentences or death penalty but here I see there was little choice when a suspect brutally attacks you after you try to make a citizens arrest. Will this case open up the door for people to think they can get away with crimes because no-one will try to apprehended someone they think is trespassing in order to rob your house of valueables? We will never know. Arbery might be wrongfully stopped but he drew first blood.

Technically...Point of actual fact...Only one of the three killed a person. Being a murderer by definition means that you personally killed someone. It's a hard fact to reconcile and a bitter pill but it's the truth. Felony murder rules are unfair and the irony here reading the posts is that the felony murder rule has historically hurt more POC than anyone else. I suppose I'm a little confused about reconciling cheering in this case while objecting in others to felony murder. How do we work for progress in the criminal justice system when we have trouble making sense of the law. It makes no sense unless justice is now a synonym of vengeance. I for one reject the idea that vengeance is a substitute for justice.

They want everyone to feel sorry for them. They thought his life didn't matter. Well it does matter. I hope they finally learned from not only their actions but there small narrow thinking. This rant is embarrassing by this lawyer. He was trying every angle but he had NO argument, NO Merit, NO Sincerity or Intelligence. Motions Denied. Like his father said to God be the Glory.
