He can pull the tears out of me with so many of his songs. Plus, I love his voice. I loved him with Roseanne. His lyrics are impeccable!

Every song he writes is like a short story, a snapshot of one of life’s many mysteries. He pulls you right into the joy, the pain and the love like you’re living it with him! Amazing, simply amazing!

Last summer he came to my town for a free community concert in the park. I'd never heard of him before, so I am glad I got to know his music

There's a few songs on this album that mention places in Houston where I spent a ton of quality time in the 80's.

Stunning artist. Love to see him live in London (green note in Camden would be nice)

Oh, I'm a huge fan; when I heard the tongue-in-cheek comment supposedly made by Mr. Johnny Cash, I laughed: "I don't care if I don't see Roseanne every day, but I can't bear the thought of not seeing Rodney!" Very telling of Mr. JC. but JC had good sense of humor; like Bob Dylan, JC and Waylon Jennings and Willie (he wrote the book) Frank Sinatra (yes, the Frank Sinatra); these people are more than super stars, they are way out there hanging around Mars and/or Jupiter. I'm going to throw in some stuff which may make you scratch your head, but my mind is racing, and I'm in charge right now!

Who underrated him? Not anybody who knows anything about American music.

@TheMargarita1948 Well you're right, didn't mean to offend you.

@@shittysunglasses I was not offended. I have spent countless hours since 1955 in friendly jousting with people about singers, songwriters, and guitar players. I was at a dinner party in Brooklyn a few weeks ago where I chided a couple of old guys about disrespecting George Jones. I had dropped him into the conversation just to see what would happen. By disrespecting him, I mean one guy did not even recognize the name and the other guy said, “he’s a country singer,” with a little sneer. The conversation that followed kept me amused for about 5 minutes. Seriously, though, Jones was a prominent person in popular culture starting in the early 1960s. How can it be that people who consider themselves in touch with popular culture do not recognize his name? it didn’t turn isn’t a big thing: I know how to keep smiling and when to quit. Just my idea of dinner party conversation.
