I wonder how many of these treasures there are lying around from miners who died prematurely, or simply forgot where they put their treasure. Would be nice to stumble upon a few of these while hiking.

If you get a converter and a car battery, using a fan with ventilation stretch hose you could get in there faster by pushing the toxic gas up the vent shaft, cheap gas mask to do set up

Sure, the son pokes his fun at his dad but I think deep down he realizes that his old man was pretty smart for stashing his opal away in the only place it won't be stolen, the ground.
