Seems like a bit of a 'relaxed' player, a lot different to the intensity that fernandinho brings. Losing kompany aswell as attempting to integrate rodri could cause some issues with the urgency of cities defence and could catch them out against teams willing to press the defence trying to play out from the back.

Interesting assumption when you havent seen him play since you said 'he seem like a bit of relaxed player'. Wishful thinking. Pep's system has never been built on intensity... it's built on control and creating 2 or more passing options on the ball... Off the ball, the team works as a collective to close passing lanes... that responsibility of winning the ball is not one player but the team as a whole, especially those players within close proximity of the ball. Rodri's signing enhances City so much and gives him a midfield that resembles Busquest - Iniesta - Xavi alot in Rodri - De Bruyne - Silva (Bernado or David).. With a midfield so young and already dominating, this team was not only built to win now but for the foreseeable 8 to 10 years... City have recruited very cleverly over the past few years and even the players they sign must have a personality that's desirable... there's a clear team ethos, no individual superstars trying to glory-hog all the time...
