Narcos is the only series I've watched fully and never skipped the intro for. On one occasion my wife started an episode without me, and when I came in almost half way through it, she started it over again for me beginning just after the intro. About a couple minutes in I told her "nah we need to restart it again but with the intro". The song perfectly sets the tone and vibe before beginning each new episode

People that don't know Spanish might not hear the magical Brazilian Portuguese accent that Amarante has when he sings in Spanish. That for me adds to the magic of the song.

Yeah. Very underrated. The Little Joy album é a piece of art, but don't have hype. His old band is Los Hermanos and some of his compositions have lyrics like old poets table and metrics. He is a genius
