Shoutout to buffed Magician card. Went from being middling to one of my favorites. Lucky as a mechanic is fun when you've got a lot of copies. Those hands when you score 3x money hits, man there's nothing better.

Yea. The patch isn't live yet. I can't wait for it to be, but my poor experiences with testing versions in other games makes me avoid doing that ever again. when did this start in testing? Early April? We should have it coming live soon right?

I just love the confusion for the first bits message 😂 Genuinely I just watch these videos to fall asleep because Roffle's voice is soothing not too exciting and a bit monotone in analysis perfect to lull my brain to sleep.

is blood stone always hitting with all the 6s a new patch thing? I got both of them in my game and bloodstone became 2 in 3 instead of 1 in 2 which was rather dissapointing

It's probably a lot of people's, it's very solid early on and is one of the easiest to build toward. Top 3 would probably be flush, high card and two pair.

It doesn't matter. 2x3 is the same as 3x2. No matter the order, you're essentially doing x6. What matters is having as many of your additive mult bonuses before you multiply them.

if you go into a calculator and type [initial mult]x2x3, the result is the same as [initial mult]x3x2. that is, in fact, the way math works.

Roffle is being too conservative with discards which probably cost him some more planets. If you have 2 discards left and 3 hands left, not discarding 5 cards every time looking for the planet cards is a bit of a throw - you value the planet cards quite a bit higher than the $1. Most egregious example is at 30:51 where he is discarding like 2 cards at a time when his deck is 40+ hearts and sub 10 spades.

13:37 Skipped a polychrome King, while having a suit changer in hand. 17:09 What's with discarding only one card at a time? More than half of the deck is hearts, 50%+ chance per card, no need to hold a flush in your hand at all times, hearts will surely come back. Again at 24:35, and again at 27:30 the fourth time in this run we've seen the lame deck digging. 26:40 Good, use the planet cards before the shop so that they'll have a chance to appear in the first shop. 28:38 Stop using the fool right after you get it, wait for hermit and temperance. Also, 4 of a kind and other kinds of flushes would work just fine against the boss, no need to commit like that. 29:47 See that Royal Flush right here? Hope it was worth all that money wasted.
