Joel Schumacher totally saved this film from becoming a goonies rip-off. I am so glad i own this movie because if i didn't, i would not collect horror flicks. Now that i do collect them, The Lost Boys will always be one of my most treasured movies in my collection.

I remember getting into massive arguments with friends over the fact that I have always preferred Roger's version to the original Elton John version or the duet with George Michael.

Elton John himself said that Roger Daltrey version is better than his original classic. I forgot where I read that quote from though.

Never understand why mainstream radio never play this version and instead play the dull elton john/george michael version, so much more feeling in this version for me.

Red City back off just because its not your cup of tea does not make it Dull it went to number 1 after Elton redone it with George I like Roger but no reason to knock my George
